Is it the sky, or could it just be an acorn? Ease up there, Chicken Little. Besides, if I were you, I'd be more worried about the Reptilians and chemtrails than Aspire products. :)

Sure.... Lol... I'm just being a paranoid idiot, and think that huffing on something that is built using sharp little fibers as a bad idea is just me parading my tinfoil hat.

As far as I know there's no regulations on what can and can't be used in the manufacture of these things. And nobody forced you to buy it. So you won't get anywhere trying to hold them accountable for laws that couldn't break because they don't exist.
But I agree. Some regulations on what materials can be used in the devices and in the juices would be nice so you could achieve a baseline of safety without having to wade through all the horse.... online and try to do the science for yourself.

And do we even know the supposed concentration of the stuff that you'd be exposed to while vaping? It doesn't say. And always. The difference between something causing cancer or causing nothing is in the amount. So let's all calm down. I highly doubt that you would have been exposed to enough of the stuff for a long enough time to cause any irreparable damage, or any damage at all for that matter even if you used your nautilus everyday since it was released.
The vaping community and Aspire themselves are aware of the "issues" and if you don't feel comfortable using their stuff, then that's fine and you can switch to another company that uses different materials.
So let's all chill out shall we?
Happy vaping.

I still use them. The Atlantis and Nautilus use the same wicking material, and it isn't fiberglass. Also, as long as the wicking material stays saturated with liquid, there isn't an issue anyway, if there was one on the first place.

You can read Aspire's rebuttal here: Aspire Support: •View topic - Aspire official statement on Atlantis coils material

Not sure how a statement (about a different coil) from the company in question proves what the material is. Aspire did release a paper from testing that was done on the Nautilus coil and the report listed the material as fiberglass. Aspire has since took the evidence that the coils are "safe" down from their site...

I have concerns about the wicking material so I'm using a different product. Lots of choices out there nowadays.

Here is a link to the report from SGS that Aspire references in their response (cross posted from a Reddit post). As you'll see, it identifies Aspire's "ceramic paper" as fiberglass paper. http://kn100.info/hosted/scs.pdf

How fiberglass paper is or isn't different from the fiberglass insulation we put in our homes, I don't know -- just trying to share any info I'm able to find. The more informed we are, the better.

ETA: I've got one more link for everyone. I've no idea who the people are behind The X Lab, but their analysis of Aspire's BVC coils and the questions/controversy surrounding them seems fairly detailed. http://www.thexlab.com/vaping/aspire_nautilus_observations.html

I can understand op may be a little concerned, we are the test rats for vaping right now. It will likely be many years before enough information is analyzed to determine actual effects of the devices and juice we are currently using. I for one am comfortable taking those risk, I was smoking before I started vaping! If you're not comfortable using any, or all for that matter, of the available tanks, batteries, or juices, feel free not to.
