Unfortunately my local guys are usually poorly stocked and overpriced. I'm going the online route for those reasons alone. If I had a decent place in my area I'd probably shop there though.

i have that B&M's serve one good purpose and that's to get stuff quickly when you cant wait on a shipment. they are usually over priced unless they are tied to a popular website. then their in store prices will be similar to what you find online.

they can also be great for checking out new stuff before you buy, the size of a PV is one thing that many people want to know about before the buy and with a B&M you can walk in hold and often test it out before you buy. that's something you cant do online and picture can be deceiving. however with all the reviewers on youtube, its gotten easier to see what new items are all about for us online only folks.

i support the local B+M by buying juice there....they have good juice so it helps, but the issue for me with stuff is that i need wires and wicks and bigger batteries....and well, they don't sell that stuff there....so i buy my equipment elsewhere.....the owner knows that and he's cool with it....he refuses to be just some mod shop and want to be known for his juice, so i buy my juice there to support local buisiness

No I don't but I've been there once (75 miles one way) and their prices were outrageous. Zikwid is the name and not realizing what I could get the same items.. for instance a knuckle head drip tip and a case... for on the net I was taken for a ride. The same case I paid around $15.00 for sells for $7/$8 all over the net. I would like to net-order from vendors in my State but they're all overpriced and under stocked so I order from clear across the country at places that even including shipping are way less expensive.

As a noob myself, I find my local store to be great. Hard for me to trust online not knowing anything. Until I get a good handle on this new and great habit I am trusting the locals. My store is pretty cool though. Met a ton of great people and they let sample everything, answer all my Qs etc. But as I learn more, I reckon i will dabble with the online retailers soon. From this forum I see there are quite a few places out there that you can trust.
Good Luck
