can you buy PG locally??

I am wanting to try something.
I am wanting to buy some PG and VG, mix them together at about an 80/20 mix. Then add in one or two whole, seeded vanilla pods. I will let this sit for a few days and it should come out as a good 0-nic dilutant with a hint of vanilla to mix with nic juice and other flavors.
If this works good it should be simple enough to do the same thing with other strong natural flavors, such as raspberries, by just adding in the fruit and letting it sit. Then all you would have to do is strain out the fruit and be left with the flavored mix to do with as you please.
But where can I buy bottles of PG??
I know I can get VG at my local Wal-Mart in the pharmacy isle, but is there a place to get PG there as well??

Do you have a Tractor Supply or a store that caters to farmers with livestock?

If you do, they will have PG on the shelf. Usually in the cattle suplement section.

Comes in gallons. Bought mine for $24.

My pharmacist fixed me up 4oz for $2.50 and threw in a nice syringe for mixing.

datacreek is correct-go to your phamacist and if they don't have it on hand they will order it for you. If he/she asks why, you can attempt to explain or just tell them you are going to try your hand at making soap and such to sell.

1 gal=3785ml @ .009 per ml shipped
1/2 gal=1892ml @ .01 per ml shipped
16 oz= 473ml @ .03 per ml shipped

If you cannot get it locally they are not a bad choice at all and don't be turned off by their terrible picture of yellow PG it was in fact clear when I got it. They carry VG, and Menthol Crystals as well. To the person who bought the 50 ml at totally wicked prices. I did the same when I started out that same 473 ml would cost you $70.95 at their prices per 50 ml.

Yeah if you can get it local you save on shipping you paid like 6/10ths of a penny per ml not including tax not bad lol.

Wow, PG by the gallon, that would prolly send me into anaphylaxis . Found out this week I'm allergic to PG. Never knew I had any allergen till this week.

Lol asked around 4-5 pharms around here in Canada and pretty much everywhere, they looked at me as if they thought i had figured a way to make a bomb out of this.
One of em asked me what it was for so i explained and she STRONGLY did not advise PG to be inhaled because it is an irritant.
Thanks for the concern but ill take a sore throat instead of a hole in there.

Yep! Most farm feed store carry USP grade PG. I bought a gallon gug fer about $25.

Your comment brought up an idea that occurred to me - Oh, many days/weeks ago, and then completely slipped my mind.

Many people on this forum have expressed concern over the quality and purity of the juice (e-liquid?) we are vaping, especially since much of it (most?) is manufactured in China.

What if you could get it from a pharmacist (without a prescription of course) who has prepared it using USP grade ingredients (nicotine, pg, vg & distilled water), per your request. You could then mix it with your own flavorings. The pharmacist may have the equipment to handle pure nicotine safely and he may see an opportunity to make a few bucks.

I don't know my pharmacist that well - I only stop in a couple times a year, but you seem to be on good speaking terms with at least one.

Any chance you can approach him on the topic? I would be interested in his response vis-a-vis legality, cost, availability, etc.
