absorption vs amount is key. as is, well, the fact that our 3mg and 6mg juices are absorbed differently than cigarette nicotine is. Cigarette nicotine is fast metabolized via the lungs, whereas our nicotine freebase is more slowly metabolized. Does this mean that vaping freebase nicotine (not saltnic) is likened to... a time-release nic? If that's the case, the peak is never going to be as strong as a cigarette's peak, when it comes to freebase vaping... but the HALF LIFE might be longer, maybe.
This would mean that, well, when I'm smoking 1 cigarette every hour on the hour (1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm...) the effects last 10 to 15 minutes, but the peak level of nicotine is much higher than with vaping freebase. With freebase nicotine juice, the effects may last 45mon to 1hour, but the peak blood-nicotine level, or, the peak level of nicotine crossing the blood brain barrier, is never going to be as high as tobacco. I have heard that Salt Nic is more similar to tobacco in it's absorption.
So vaping our 3mg and 6mg freebase is almost like taking a time release tylenol as compared to an instant gel during a migraine. With the instant gel, your migraine is gone within 20 minutes. With a time release, you may continue to have a dull headache, but it'll get you through the night.
