In reference to prebuilt off the shelf coils. Each coil has a resistance specified and wattage range imprinted on the side of the coil.

I see so many reviews on youtube wherein the product reviews/demonstrations are not within the manufacturers specified wattage range of the coil. In many of the videos, lower or higher than the recommended range is used with seemingly little regard to suggested wattage. Furthermore, I've never seen an explanation in any of videos why the manufacturers recommended wattage range wasn't followed.

Do you vape within the manufacturers specified coil wattage range or pay little to no attention to that range? And if not, why?

Usually I would just set it to come out around 3.8-4.2 volts, no matter what the inscription on the side of the coil says. For example, I would never go higher than 30 watts which is about 4.2 volts on the 0.5 ohm OCC Kanger coil on the Subox mini set even though the inscription says you can use the coil between 15-60 watts. INHO, Ithink it also has to do with your liquid also.

Kanger SSOCC / VOCC .5 ohms say you can vape em as low as 15W, good luck trying that... I vape em at 30W until vape and flavour drop off and then vape em at 35W and upwards in 1W increments with decreasing performance until they die...

I just bough an Aspire cleito tank which is .4 ohm coils rated 40-60W... My mod only goes up to 40W, tried it in store was great, whereas with the Kangers, on lowest rating you get nada... Went down to 35W and the Cleito vaped good, but flavour did drop off

Um Aspire Nauti Mini, the 1.8 ohm BVC standards used to vape at 15-17W but the new ones that are still 1.8 but I think are Clapton, I vape same liquids same mod at 9.5w.....
