Do you vape in public, I do!

Im a taxi driver in the uk, I don't know if its a good or bad thing but I vape with customers in the car, of course i ask them if they mind me vaping and they all say no but when i blow a massive cloud they like WHAT! am not just doing it to show off but to educate the public as best i can about what is possible with vaping. Most people around my end of the world have tried cheap e cigs and are back on the fags/cig. Doing what am doing gets them excited about vaping again. So my question is are other vapers hiding their mods and looking for a quiet corner or are u spreading the love??? P. S. am vaping none nicotine just vg around customers

Much like when I used to smoke cigarettes... I usually go out of my way to move away from non smokers if I was going to smoke tobacco cigarettes. It's pretty much almost the same for me with vaping. If I'm around people that don't vape and don't know what it is then I'll move a bit of a small distance away from them so as to not invade their "space".

When i was smoking tobacco cigarettes I was quite conscience of how much they stink to non smokers so I felt the need to move away from people that I didn't know if they'd be offended by the smoke or not, similarly if I'm vaping something that I know (actually my wife is the usual culprit of this) is going to be quite acrid, then we move away from others to vape, if it's a more pleasant vape that comes off smelling like my grandmothers house at Christmas (you know, cinnamon, sugar cookies and Pine cones) then I will still move away, just not as far and if somebody mentions how delightful it smells then I'll move closer to them and usually strike up a conversation with them about vaping and what it is and why it smells the way that it smells.

In general I believe in giving people their personal space and not intruding on it just as much as I like my own personal space and don't like others to intrude on mine

Hi,
I vape where ever I am, but I don't make a lot of 'cloud' as I lung inhale ...I scrutinize the surrounding people to see the reactions. I vaped in a hospital waiting room waiting for a ct scan and had quite a discussion on it while waiting...if I got any negativity then I would have ceased, but never did.
Jim
p.s. I was waiting for a ct scan on my leg for circulation problems...

:) I made the switch b/c of a vaping cab driver.

Probably about a year ago today, give or take, I was smoking on the curb waiting for my cab.
He spent the whole ride to the airport blowing delicious smelling clouds on an itaste and talking up vaping, how easy it was to make the switch, and all the benefits.
I had seen cigalikes and considered them for times smoking wasn't an option, but never considered them as a quitting mechanism.
I did research on my trip, and bought my own itaste when I got back home.

I vape openly everywhere non-enclosed I go, and stealthily in some enclosed places. And chat up anyone that's curious. I hope some of the many smokers I've talked to have also gone on to make the switch.

I vape openly in almost any non enclosed area I go. If there are many people around I do tend to move farther away from people to do so. As far as vaping indoors, I do it at home and all of my family's homes, but even at friends houses I am hesitant and will generally go outside unless/until they tell me that they don't mind. In public buildings I don't do it at all with the exception of bars.

Anywhere around children (indoors or outdoors) I avoid it unless I see their parents smoking/vaping around them first.

I Vape anywhere that I would have smoked a cigarette, including in public. Lots of people are curious about my MVP. Only a few have tried to tell me that their bad, I reply by telling them that Reports about how terrible ecigs are, are usually funded by big tobacco or big pharm and that independent studies tell a much different story.

+1 to the above, especially the last part surprises people as the normally only have knowledge they got from the daily tabloid paper

The funny thing to me is that the only people that have ever tried to "educate" me about how terrible eCigs are for my health are people who is see smoking re-fries or chain smoking 2 cigs while they're on a 10 minute break. I just laugh and walk away. I'm not an idiot, I know that there is no possible way that eCigs are good for me in any way, but anyone who claims to know that they're worse than regular cigs isn't even worth my time.

I vape everywhere I go. In the movie theater, in a restaurant, at the grocery store. The only place where people make a big deal is during the sermon at church. Thankfully there seem to be no shortage of churches around here, so I just go to a new one each week.

I'm kidding, of course.

I've been vaping since March or April and aside from vape shops I have not seen a single person vaping in public. So I just vape in my truck and hope nobody sees.
