I pulled up beside a cop on Wednesday. I was vaping. Cop was smoking. I rolled my window down, held out my Riva, and yelled, "You need to change to an ecig!" He followed me to wally world. I told him what it was. I had a new filled cart and let him try it. LOL...he wanted to know where he could get one. His wife was always on his tail about smoking. I pointed him to several websites, told him what to purchase, and to check us out on ECF before he choose what model he thought might suit him best. He liked mine he told me but I told him to internet shop and if he had any questions, to come here.

I had to wait until he tried it about 30 times until I was "released" to go about my business.

Look at it this way.

Treat every vape in public as a way to introduce the uninformed to the world of the e-cig.
If you look and act suspicious, you are going to attract unwanted attention to yourself.
If you look and act normal, you are going to attract an interest into something you are really enjoying and may gain new converts.
Don't get upset if someone thinks you are doing drugs. Instead, look at it as a opportunity to educate someone else.

Nope. I hope increasingly people will recognize what it is I'm doing. And, those who don't ... let them wonder, heh. I don't hide.

I don't hide it either. I'm not breaking any laws and I hope to increase awareness all around me. Let them pull me over or let them stare. I'm okay with it.

I live in a pretty rough area. It's not in any way as bad as say, Chicago, but there is a abnormal amount of drug pushing, poverty, violence and theft. Because of my environment I do try to keep it low key while driving through the neighborhood, especially at night. I kind of do that with anything though because the last thing I want to do is become a target for any reason. Once I'm out of town though, I'm more open with my vaping. I guess my behavior really comes down to the environment I'm in. Really, just like anything, I'd conduct my business differently at home than say, the suburbs.

I had a strange situation along these lines...

I have a female German Shepard who happens to be in heat (trying to bread her). I keep her in a fenced in back yard. Well Thursday around 4 my 6 year old comes in and screaming a dog is trying to bite him. So I go out and sure enough a Blue healer pit looking thing is standing between the side porch and fence acting like he wants to gnaw my legs off.. I grabbed a big stick and tried to run him off but he charged me.. Well since I understand WHY he was being aggressive and it is illegal to discharge my .45 in his head inside city limits, I called the pound.. They were closed.. Other kids playing in the neighborhood I worried about this dog getting too so I called the city cops... They were on a call but they sent a sheriffs deputy, then after him making like 10 calls trying to get the pound guy to come, the sheriff rolls up.. Then 2 city cops, so now I have a deputy, the sheriff and 2 city cops standing in my yard all of us staring at a dog who won't budge from his hopeful female companion.. A vet comes and brings some tranquilizer pills we shove in a hotdog and the waiting game is on..

What do I do, Pull out my PV and start vaping.. The look on the cops faces was priceless... I said "you guys know what this is?", in response the sheriff says " as long as you don't start staggering like that dog I don't need to know"..lol.. I explained it to them in the 20 minutes it took the dog to go to sleep so they could haul it off... Was a trip though cause I know they thought I had just pulled out a high tech pipe...I am a guitar playing hippie looking dude.. Last time they came to my house was the only time we ever had a band practice in my basement..lol

Which e-cigs are advertised on TV? One of my friends (an older lady) was telling me that she saw them advertised on TV but she couldn't remember what they were called. She was just about ready to order them too, but I told her to wait until I could find out what they were

I was at work took a hit off my saber right before the elevator door opened, I got in and the guy that was in the elevator said "Oh my God, did you just see that smoke? Must have been electrical "! I got on and said "No. I didn't see anything " he thought there was a fire starting on the third floor! I never realized how much vapor my saber was producing lol

I was vaping at a civilly disobedient anti-drug war rally. It was the only time I was ever nervous about vaping in public. And even then it was just a minor concern, more of the realization that what I'm doing might look like I'm using drugs.

So I made sure I was chain vaping the whole time.
