It is both that are a threat, and I'm not saying don't vape in public forever, just until more real information is made public, and businesses can make educated decisions about if they choose to allow it. I'm also not talking about parks or any public place where smoking is still allowed. I'm talking about brazenly strolling through Target or the mall and vaping. Some businesses have already made the decision to restrict vaping to designated smoking areas. I took a Carnival cruise last month, and they had ecig restrictions printed on the ticket.
When smoking was first banned there were a lot of bars and restaurants that wanted to continue to allow it, but the government told them they couldn't. As ecig use continues to grow by leaps and bounds, there may be a lot of establishments that want to allow it, maybe even cater to it. I'm just saying to give that a chance to happen.
Okay, well you can do it your way, and I will do it my way. I was vaping in a bar watching some basketball last night...I met a couple who both smoked. The girl used my ProVari once...her eyes lit up, and she was like, "where did you get that?...I thought electronic cigarettes were those Blu things!" She ordered a ProVari for herself and her boyfriend from her phone during the timeouts, and liquid, and batteries, etc. This bar I was in permits vaping, but does not permit smoking. What better place to meet and convert vapers is there on earth, I ask... (rhetorically)
I will vape publicly in non-smoking, but appropriate areas, and I will convert an army of smokers to vaping before I am through. I have lost count of my converts, but I know it is pushing or exceeding triple digits at this point.
We wrote down a couple of vape shops she could hit for flavors, etc. and I said "well, guess we know it's ok to vape in here"...but we didn't. Im like everyone else. If smoking isn't allowed, Im not gonna walk thru blowing clouds.
