I find that 100% VG gets my chest feeling very heavy/congested. To the point where it feels like I'm outta breath. I do, like, an 80% PG with 20% VG, maybe 90% VS 10% and everything is okay.
Too much VG makes me feel like a cat with a hairball it can't get rid of. Just something stuck, that won't go up or down.
I always stick to 85% PG for my regular ADV; I have asthma and just can't handle much VG. With other flavors, that I only vape for a short time, I'll go as low as 70% PG, but no lower.
Everyone is always going on about mouth or throat soreness, but it's not really that big an issue; I've used PG in my asthma inhaler for 30 yrs now, and although I'm definitely getting a lot more now with vaping, that just means I need to drink more water; it doesn't make my mouth or throat sore, and it sure improves the throat hit and taste!
I really think equal time needs to be given to those with physical issues, like asthma or COPD, that make vaping too much VG really uncomfortable, if not dangerous. It's a very heavy substance; people with compromised lungs really shouldn't be inhaling too much of it.
