do you vape mostly one kind of juice (PG/VG), or all over the range?

I find that 100% VG gets my chest feeling very heavy/congested. To the point where it feels like I'm outta breath. I do, like, an 80% PG with 20% VG, maybe 90% VS 10% and everything is okay.

Too much VG makes me feel like a cat with a hairball it can't get rid of. Just something stuck, that won't go up or down.

I always stick to 85% PG for my regular ADV; I have asthma and just can't handle much VG. With other flavors, that I only vape for a short time, I'll go as low as 70% PG, but no lower.

Everyone is always going on about mouth or throat soreness, but it's not really that big an issue; I've used PG in my asthma inhaler for 30 yrs now, and although I'm definitely getting a lot more now with vaping, that just means I need to drink more water; it doesn't make my mouth or throat sore, and it sure improves the throat hit and taste!

I really think equal time needs to be given to those with physical issues, like asthma or COPD, that make vaping too much VG really uncomfortable, if not dangerous. It's a very heavy substance; people with compromised lungs really shouldn't be inhaling too much of it.

You just reminded me to go check some juice I ordered a while back. My chest really hurt and felt tight, vaping it. I stuck it back in the drawer thinking it was me and that I'd try it again down the road. Someone else had the same trouble with the same company.

I vaped some 100vg today but that didn't seem bother me?

Checked on it and its 65/35 so not really any different to what I'm used to.

Is it pg or vg that can cause skin breakouts?

I have no idea. PG has never caused me anything except leg cramps from dehydration. VG just made my chest feel like there was something I needed to cough up, but couldn't, too tight and dry.

I think the stress of quitting cigarettes may be the culprit in skin breakouts.

it was, PG irritated my throat, so I used mostly high VG ratio blends
after several months of vaping, my throat has become somewhat conditioned
and I now can use a 50/50 blend...

I DIY and mix both 50/50 & 40/60 (PG/VG) blends in 24mg

that is what I like and what I've settled on (till the next change/phase comes along)

so to answer your question, I stick to just my (2) types of blends

I've liked 80/20 since I started vaping. Only over the last few weeks I start making my own liquids. The weird part, I found, is that when I make an 80/20, it's a lot stronger than what I'm used to in throat hit, which I think is odd. I've started bringing them down just a bit to 65/35 or so. It's helped, too.

kinda got me to thinking: (survey)
of the three variables, what order do you put your preference
Vapor / TH / Flavor ? ?

- - - - - - - - - -

me,

1) Flavor
2) TH
3) Vapor

:2cool:

Honestly with me... They all have to be equally as impressive. If a flavor is good but doesnt have throat hit I dont care for it. If it tastes good and hits good but theres little vapor, I dont want it. So I think for me the TH and Vapor are the most important about equally, maybe throat hit a wee bit more. But that doesn't mean that I'll vape any flavor as long as it hits good. I think I just went in circles there lol
