I've been a carto-tank and clearomizer guy as soon as I picked up the Volcano Inferno, but I started on those Blu tiny things with the cartomizers. All that being said, I keep hearing more than several people on this forum talking about how awesome cartos are.

I went and picked up a 5-pack of some standard 2.5 ohm cartos from a local brick and mortar shop, of which, 4 out of the 5 were dead - atomizers wouldn't even fire. Granted they're giving me a full refund (a.k.a., trading me for another 5 pack), but I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing.

Is there a surefire, reliable pack of cartos I can try out with my eGo Twist? Are they all possibly DOA? How can I possibly avoid filling one with my (precious) e-liquid before realizing it's DOA?

Just looking for some general guidance regarding cartomizers.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if anyone saw this post, I assume you mean the old style cartos and not the new clearomizer things. I just test them with a multimeter just like you would an atomizer, red post in the bottom hole, black post touching threads, set to ohms, and test. I do that with all of my new acquisitions, that way I can contact the supplier immediately with any problems.

I hope this helps!
