So we went to B&M across town we've read good things about and I ended up buying an eVic. I also looked at a sigelei but the FW upgrades and software sold the geek in me. I'm upgrading from eGoT

Anyway I got home, charged it and nothing.:( Called the shop and they said to come swap it out. Since it's a 45 minute drive I'll go tomorrow. But now I'm wondering if I should have gotten something else.

Any opinions of Sig vs eVic reliability? I'm not seeing much for complaints about either unit. Am I just questioning because of this experience? Should I have faith in the eVic?

BTW, if you're interested Every time I plug in the unit it says charging but it displays different battery level. One time it may say 100%, next time 83%, then 58%, etc. Sometimes it will power up if plugged in other times it wont. Once it powered up unplugged and I took one vape then it died again. It will not let me pass through vape if it does power up. I did manage to connect via software and tried FW upgrade but no change. Oh, also it wont charge on included charger, I have to use my phone charger.

LMAO. If you were talking to a certain Brit about it then I was sitting right next to him during the call.

Sorry your eVic isn't working! I'm sure Chris will get it sorted tomorrow. Personally I never liked the things. A Zmax is a much more solid mod.

Yes it was a certain long haired Brit.
Unfortunately, that was our first experience with that shop and Chris won't be there today. I have faith whoever is there will take care of us though.

I'll take another look at the Zmax while I'm there.

My evic has been one of the best pvs I've had. I also have a sigelei zmax and both are great. Electronic failures happen. Unfortunately it seems with Chinese mods, there isn't a great QA procedure. If you get a working device of either, they will be very satisfying IMO.
fixed that for ya lol
