So I got some docan? 40 amp batteries. I know they're not 40 amp CDR and that they are a rewrap. But I want to know what they are. The battery says 40 amp max discharge and 3000 mAh. The top of the battery looks like a Sony of some kind with the three legs or whatever they are called. I just was wondering what they actually are so I know what the CDR really is. I emailed the company which I believe is based out of China. The lady didn't seem to understand what I was asking so no help there and Google just brings up vamped batter results and searching here brings no results. Any help in determining the CDR would be greatly appreciated. I doubt the mAh rating is true but it's probably close as it takes longer thany HE2's to charge and just a little less than my HG2 on a luc v4 at 2 amps.

I'd be more worried about what type of battery it is, as in, type of chemistry.
Personally, I would bother with it. I'd stick with the LGs you mentioned.

Well that's actually all I'm worried about. I bought it from the shop I always go to and I trust the guy there and he recommended them be cause they have no vtc's and were out of lg's so he said they were the next thino he'd recommend but yeah. I know it's a rewrap I just want to know of what and then I can determine what it will be able to do
I haven't seen any test results for that battery and I haven't tested it either. My guess is that it's probably an ok 15A-20A battery with 2800-3000mAh of capacity. If you use it as such you're probably ok.
Why ride the short bus, when a limo costs the same. Stick with known, un-rewrapped cells from Sony LG and Samsung and you won't go wrong.
