nope.

while it is true.. most flavors are pg based.. there is a trend of making flavors in vg instead. many places offer 'max vg' which is often 80% vg and 20% pg, where the pg is all from the flavorings.

there are true 100% vg juices that have LOTS of flavor. you just have to look harder for them. one thing to be mentioned.. pg along w/ nicotine is what provides the 'throat hit'... and 100% vg juices sometimes do not satisfy because they are too 'smooth'.

hey thanks for the reply, to be honest i have not tried any liquid with nicotine since i quit smoking like 5 yrs ago and just started vaping and dont wanna go back in time, so i dont know what is the "throat hit" (sorry im new in this) but if is possible to have flavors with just VG isnt it safer? im just here trying to decide whether is good the no pg or not

Throat hit is the bite you feel in your throat. With a cigarette, this comes from the smoke (which is an irritant). With vaping, people often want it to mimic smoking as much as possible. Both PG and nicotine provide some of that harsher "bite". VG is much smoother, and unless you are using a setup that provides lots of vapor, you might feel like you're just inhaling air (which isn't very satisfactory as a smoking substitute, since you feel like something major is missing).

"Throat hit" is the harshness or kick feeling in the throat when smoking or vaping. It's primarily the result of the nicotine concentration in smoke or vapor, but pg in vapor contributes a little, too.

I've purchased my favorite flavor as a 50/50 pg/vg and also 100% vg, and couldn't tell the difference in flavor. The 100% vg had a little more vapor. Mostly vg e-liquids may require some "steeping" time as it doesn't take to flavors as easily as pg.

Virgin Vapors, Dripeez, and VapeRite offer options to purchase your choice of pg/vg. They are also all-natural & all-organic flavorings.

hi guys the question is already on the tittle, i read that the PG is the flavor part while the VG the vapor part, so if something says 100% VG or NO PG does that means that it has no flavor?

thanks

No.
Usually when they say 100% VG, it means either there is no PG at all, or the only PG in it is a small amount that might have come with the flavouring.
Basically it means when they mixed it, they only added vg and not pg.

As far as "safer", pg is safe, unless you are one of the VERY few that are allergic to it. People have been inhaling pg far longer then vg... It's a main ingredient in many asthma inhalers
