Who wouldn't cherish this bad boy...

View attachment 487864

Of all the foreign metal I've owned, I cherished the '67 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII Roadster BJ8 the most. This one a special order factory 4 litre/tranny/suspension custom build capable of serious road racing yet still with all the classic looks. It was one of my daily drivers the years I lived in Carmel, CA... but I did race it once on Laguna Seca without any mishaps and called that good enough for it's racing career. It was however the terror of PCH1 (the Pacific Coast Highway) from Point Arena to Morro Bay. I should have never sold to a collector but I did eventually, kept the three restored C1 Corvettes instead. The gent that has it now lives in northern CA, and it's still in original mint condition. It's his weekend ride, his daily is a Jaguar. I tried to buy it back a few years ago, but even a six figure offer was turned down flat. When you have a one of a kind classic like this one you do want to hang on to it (like I should have).

Dirty is all relative. I've been working on getting my 10 cord of wood in for the winter and my Reo gets so gritty from getting bumped off stumps and shoved in a dirty pocket that I can barely get the door open. Once I had to pull up on the button to keep it from firing. But it will still vape! Gotta keep crud off the sticky air holes too. Clogged drip tip has to be blown out once in a while and I've inhaled some unknown bit of debris or ant or some other crawling bug. Makes me wonder if I've actually vaporized an insect.
Lately I've been remembering to carry it in an old hard shell eye glasses case and that helps a little.

Haha. I thought i was the only one! Although im dealing with different debris, and ive never possibly vaped a bug. Im pretty sure ive vaped insulation though. And ive found sheetrock dust INSIDE my atty (after half a day wondering why my unflavored nic tastes off)
