I don't think mine has ever gotten dirty enough to need extra cleaning. That is the beauty of them. Pure perfection! Of course I would say that. . . I don't have a ultrasonic cleaner.

^^^ Same here. I have a commercial UC for aging joose mostly, have used it to clean mods that needed frequent cleaning (like GP PAPS), but have never felt the need to use in on any of my Reos so far. Some of them get used nearly 24/7 all week long (I do get a little sleep sometimes), and they just don't get even close to needing a bath in the UC.

Thanks for all the input

I have two UC's but I only use them for reloading/gun cleaning. I would not ever put a REO in them with the other chemicals.

So far hot water and a small tooth brush has worked for me as well but did not know if a UC would damage any thing on REO if you just put it in and let it go.

I have used my ultrasonic for my REO's.

A denture cleaning tablet is a good cleaner to drop in there also.

I have done atomizers and RBA's in there too.

I always do REO's separate from RBA's.

It works great
.

Excellent...Do you take anything apart or just drop it in and go.

thanks Karen

I've cleaned so many attys, and whatever those things that go in CE4s are called. Pretty funny, I haven't used one in so long I can't remember what they're called. Anyway, all had seals and coils and stuff and nothing was ever hurt. So I don't think putting a Reo in one would hurt. No harsh solvents but you know that.

I figure it like this, if I can put my finger in one while it's running and all it does is come out cleaner it's not going to hurt my metal reo. And I know your not talking about woodvils.
