I just wanted to know if the new Kanger AeroTank clear tube will crack from those juices, that causes the plastic tanks to crack, they state that its pyrex glass (sorry if spelled wrong) but I dont know if that wont crack.
yeah, I figure, but I dont know much about pyrex, it looks like from research that its just a tempered class, so it wont crack, just wanted to make sure
A: Pyrex is a bit of a misnomer. When it was first developed it referred to Borosilicate Glass but now it is a brand name and may or may not be Borosilicate. Our glass is from top suppliers and either Borosilicate or Quartz Glass (where noted). We try to avoid Quartz Glass where we can because it does not offer benefits to our application and is typically ten times as expensive making it difficult to stock material in the wide variety of sizes needed to service our ever changing market. If you can encourage device makers not to use Quartz Glass as it only adds cost with the only benefit being a buzzword Fused Quartz. You as the force of the market will control this.
