Hi all,
I've been reading about the many kinds and types of E-Cigs there are and it's all pretty confusing.
My questions are, does anybody know which way the battery control will finely end up going, manual or automatic???
Something this new will eventually end up going in one direction or the other, usually.

I have an auto and just love it but it seems there are those who don't approve of a auto bat at all and,
I really haven't see much negative chatter about a manual bat.
What's up here?

Thank you.
Rick

In the past there were more problems with autos - any ejuice leaks through the center post hole was likely to fry the batt immediately and with certain types of switches 'primer puffs' were necessary - there were short cutoffs followed by long time outs. So despite being 'less like a cigarette' in one category, manuals were considered more like a cigarette in ultimate performance. Most recently Joye tech has made some improvements on the auto that they sell with the 510-t kit. It needs it's own charger and according to joye technicians there is better protection built in for shorts from ejuice (not absolute of course) and they are using a vacuum switch - earlier joye autos used the sound switch. I have the 510-t kit and I it's the best auto batt I've had - no problems with cut offs/time outs - something that really is maddening when you're trying to build a good vape. I've had no leaks with the 510 or eGo-t tanks so that hasn't been a problem either with the 510 auto batt. It is a 'mega' 280mAh batt so it lasts a bit longer than a regular 510 auto or manual.

I really think both types will be around for a while but manuals will still dominate the market - partly because of the bad experience some had with autos early on and only a total newbie would think that a manual button would be a 'problem' - once you get one it's second nature.
