one major difference is they weigh a lot lot more... oh and you will need the ego adapter to use the t-3 on it...even though the t-3 is 510 ...the lip on the provari prevents any clearos from being used on it....except maybe the 510 nano (as it is narrow enough.)

Will do. Believe me, I've been doing a lot of research the last few days of all kinds of VV devices. I like the size of the Mini (it's a bit shorter than my X2 650mah) and the button placement on the tube is perfect for the way I hold my PV. And of course there's the build quality and reputation.

Besides, I figure if I don't like it, it'll take me, what, 15 or 20 minutes to sell it?

Thanks. Yeah, I already ordered the ego adapter, also an 808 adapter so I can use my SI carto's and CE3's on it. Also ordered some T3's and replacement coils and some DC carto's and a Vivi Nova and batteries and a charger and and and... I think that's enough for now!

Also aware of the weight, the diameter, etc. As I said, I did a lot of research, read a lot and watched a lot of reviews of many VV's.

Yeah, it's a different animal from the auto X2, fer shure. Really, the only thing I have any trepidation about is the button as this is my first manual. I'm sure it will take some getting used to, but I've read here (including Tramd's comment in this thread) and elsewhere on ECF that you get used to it. When I first started vaping the "technique" (longer draw, etc) was certainly different from smoking and felt awkward, but now of course it feels perfectly natural. Hoping the same for the button thang.

...

So, to each his own, but you can keep your buttons, your VV's, your mods. I'm sticking with my auto-bat. Because that's what works for me!

The Key is the Last Two Sentences.

It doesn't matter what Other People Use or Like. What matters is that You have something that You Like.

BTW - This isn't Limited to Only e-Cigarettes. ;)

the button on a X2 is bigger and after a little while it just becomes natural to you,,,,i the beginning i thought i would never go to a manual,,but i only want manuals now,,,,not the 78s,,i have put all my 78s away, maybe to give away later on.

i have learned that i get better taste by how long i hold the button down,,,i could never taste the chocolate and caramel in my diy juices ,till i started to use X2 manuals,,,,,,,,,so we all change over time the longer we vape, the smarter we get about our perferences.

I only like 78mms in auto. I have one manual and hated it. When the blue and purple X2s came out I had to have the manuals (because I was impatient and didn't want to wait for autoss) and was worried I wouldn't like manuals. Well, now I rarely use the X2 autos. I prefer manuals on the bigger batteries.

I don't own a Provari, but I've used one for half a day. You'll get used to pressing a button real quick. Hang out with it for a day and you'll be looking for the button on everything else. If I pick up my X2 autos now, I'm looking for the button.

Just started a few weeks ago with autos 65/78.
Tonight received a manual 78 & manual x2 650, along with CE3 and x2 clearos. I got the manuals mostly just in case I am all thumbs with new toys, and leak alot. So far, after a few hours with the manual 78, it is still awkward, but I'm loving the CE3 so it is a small price to pay.

Too early to say, but I frequently forget to push the button, lol.

I have some auto volts and manuals, and my X2s are manuals. I came to prefer manuals as soon as I tried them. I think partly because sometimes its windy when I go outside at work and the autos didn't do as well in the wind.
Still use the autos sometimes - used one a few days ago.
I think its great that we get a choice or can have both.

Got my Provari Mini yesterday. Awesome! Crimeny, the vapor this thing puts out! Really brings out the flavors when you up the volts a bit to the 4.0 - 4.5 range. The SI CE3's work great on it w/an adapter. And the button? No problem, little missy! The way I hold my Mini, it sits right under my thumb. Pushing it is already second nature.

All in all, a very nice vape!
