when my ProVari came in vickie my GF asked me how much did that cost ..... i replied "about 3 cartons of cigs" she then said "oh that's like 2 weeks of cigs for u huh" yup and it will last alot longer then two weeks too lol

Not yet. I've spent way more on vaping than I would if we were still smoking. I hear that will balance out when I'm not so new... it's only been 2 days shy of a month, so far.
Yes, I still think in cartons. That justifies the (edit) load of $$ I have been spending on vaping stuff lately lol.

Im way past worried about breaking even. I just enjoy my new hobby as much as possible.
After a year, I've cut down spending. I no longer "have" to try the newest PV, carto, or tank. I still "want" to, but I don't have to. 
It's "suppose" to balance out. I didn't start vaping to save money. I did it for my health. I'm probably in the hole when it comes to my vaping versus when I smoked.
I'm definitely in the hole too....But yes I still think, "I would spend that on a carton of smokes." And I actually have enough juice and batteries to last at least a year. So except for attys and splurges (vv REO) my spending should go down.
It's hard to define where *break even* falls. What does lung cancer or heart disease cost? =)
I'm ahead in $$ vaping vs smoking, but not by much. On the up side I've got a new hobby!

I would easily blow through $50 a week on analogs, I find it hard to spend that much each week on e-cig goodies, but i'm trying!!
Oh, don't get me wrong. I am still ahead with vaping. My weekly analog bill was around 60.00 and there's no way I spend that now. It's just that I got this little bug.... that made me buy some FBM's, a bunch of batteries and some chargers, a bunch of juice, a bunch of DIY stuff (and I still need a whole lot in THAT dept), a bunch of cartos and drip tips. Then again, I REALLY needed that stuff And you are all right -- at least I am not smoking cigarettes anymore. To me it is definitely worth it! Now, off to find some 3.0 cartos for my new box mods making their way across the country.....

I'm only two weeks in. I used to spend approx 120/mo on nrt...so far w first starter, extra cartos and an in expensive cheaply kit I'm over the prev nrt budget. But when I get my g6, liquids...I look for my tab to go way down...I'm really happy w Vaping though...tons more fun that parking a piece of gum...lol!!!
my spending will slow down soon too .. i am just now loading up on juice and cartos so i dont run out ... even if i go less and less with the nic and maybe get to 0mg i think i will always vape ... vickie went cold turkey 12 yrs ago and i guess dosent understand why i can't ..... what in the world am i going to do with 4 humidors of cigars .... just do a clinton and not inhale lol
I don't count in cartons, but i do have a spreadsheet that keeps track of the money saved from analogs and money spent on e-cig stuff. Number get's bigger everyday!
My hubby still makes ME go to the shop and buy HIS smokes... So on monday i bought him 7 packs, brought them home and placed them next to my eGo and 20mls of juice, pointing to the tower of cigarettes i said "One hunderd and nineteen dollars, one week supply", then pointing to the ego and juice i said "Sixteen dollars, one week supply" I think the visual size differance made an impact too... he said he will swap over when he goes on holiday from work!
i'm waaaaaay ahead, here a pack cost dkr 34 (like 7$) and i used to smoke a good deal more than 1 a day, so that's about 1100 $ worth of smoke i've vaped, and the vaping stuff has cost me around 350usd, including buying the wrong stuff lol.
that said i've lost a few ecig's on night's out, rolling out of pockets or whatever idk, so might wanna be more carefull with your provari than i am with my ego batteries
