Not me o_O

I think it could be your body reacting to a strange new experience maybe.

When I first started vaping, i would get SLEEPY! Which was really weird cos I was using high nicotine juice. And cigarettes used to have the opposite effect on me (keep me awake, like caffeine).

After a couple of weeks of vaping though, the sleepy effect is mostly gone now (although I still notice it a little sometimes)

I remember the initial first couple of weeks I didn't get warm per say, but I did feel that way. It was just my reaction to what I think was too high nic strength. I started at 24mg thinking it would be just right, but I'm more of about a 15mg person. I normally vape at about 8- 12mg cause I pretty much vape constantly when I get home from work.

But at 24mg I could only vape a few hits like once every hour or so. I would get that warm feeling you get right before fever sets in and instead of that I would just end up with a stomach ache unless I stopped vaping for a while. I'd say try adjusting your nic level.

Hard to explain. Kind of an all over internal warmth that becomes external. Not sure about the PG because I'm so new to this. And not sure about the nic level either. I'm a heavy smoker and I'm using 24 mg, and vaping that is only helping the cravings to a degree. Granted, I've already cut down 2/3 of my analogs in two days, and the taste of the cartos I bought are definitely lacking. But I don't feel any of the other symptoms I've read about concerning ODing on nicotine. Though, I did order juices in 18 mg just to be sure.

Just a headsup. My friend is a 3 pack a day smoker and he recently is trying ti switch in light of how well I switched over. However each time he tried my stuff ( a 24mg 18mg and even a 12mg cartomizer) he almost hurled. One time he actually did. I had to make a special green apple menthol blend for him to vape at 6mg with a 20pg/80vg mix. He handles that very well now.

My point being that it isn't always a logical choice when picking your nic level. At 3 packs a day you'd think 24mg would be a grat spot for him. So switching to 18mg might be just right for you. I always try to look out for people when it comes to picking their nic level. A bunch of my friends are switching over and they all have a different comfort level despite we all smoked about the same. Well not that one kid, 3 packs is a lot for one day lol. But still, to get physically sick from one regular vape hit. You never know, right?

Probably a sound idea. :) So if you're not feeling like this is an overdose type of feeling, then its possible that you may be sensitive to PG. Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycol are the two bases that these juices are made from. Some people are sensitive to one or the other. It might be a good idea to try a sampling of VG based juice to see if the "warming" effect occurs. If this is something that is causing you grief, then it might be a good idea to check in with your physician. I hope this helps. :)

I am a new vaper and boy did I think something was wrong with me. I got red in the face and hot to the touch my face was so hot I new I was red faced without looking in the mirror. It boiled down to the nicotine level and not a bad reaction to PG or VG. I started at 18 mg im now at 5 mg. When red and very hot it took some time to recover after stopping vaping like 3 hours or so. I was worried and posted a Mr red face from England post. I got some replys and dicided to vape no nic juice the next day it had vg and pg in and I was ok. I tried high nic juice and was red quite quickly. I suggest a low level of juice and think you will be just fine. Kind regards Rob..

I don't know if it is the nic with me. I'm vaping 30mg in the am and in the evenings switch between 18mg and 24mg.

The other night, I was vaping 18mg and my back got real warm. It felt like a blanket right out of the dryer on my back. Not unpleasant at all. Then it just went away.

Strange. But that's normal for me:)
