You can see in the pic below how I hold mine and it doesn't cut into my hand..the bumps don't feel sharp on mine when I run my hands across them either maybe the one you got just had some sharp edges..I'm sure these are being produced in the millions as they are wholesaling the kits for under $30 from China.

That is a possibility, either way it came out nice and it feels better than ever.

Before I got a lavatube, I was using a buzz pro. With either one, I tend to set it on end when I'm not using it, and it's very easy to knock it over. With the Buzz Pro, I had taken some scrap 2x4 wood, and drilled out a hole to set it in. That kept me from knocking it over so easy. (And I had other holes drilled to hold cartomizers and batteries and such.)

The lavatube is the exact same size as the Buzz Pro - except for those darn nubs sticking out. So I thought "Hey, maybe the buzz pro bottom cap will work". It fits. It seems like it should work. It screws on. But my lavatube doesn't like it, and shuts off as soon as I try to use it.

Thanks to whoever it was that linked a place to buy lavatube bottom caps. I'll probably get a couple of those and try removing the nubs myself.

I set mine on a old TV stand that my computer monitor is attached to next to my recliner so it's in a place it won't get knocked over. I have been planning on making a stand like you did for my eGo's and cartomizers some with 6ml tanks on them..haven't got around to it yet because most of the wood I have is stuffed up top in the garage and I'm being to lazy to get it lmao.

That's probably a connection issue..maybe putting something on the threads would help..I believe nolex (I think that's the name) is something people use on their threads..also a very small amount of Vaseline probably would work but only very little because it spreads everywhere lol.

You're welcome..I'm a linking-searching fool :D
