I want to get the longest life out of my atty, and I have read so many threads about cleaning them.I was just wondering if anyone who has tried almost all the tips , and has settled on one practice because it has worked better than others. So if you have found the best method please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

When I purchased my first Type-B atomizer I was shocked to find that the wick was completely different than my Type-A atomizers. Unlike the Type-A the wick was wound into the coil and did not have the nickel mesh on top of it. I purchased mine at MFS.

I had always taken my Type-A’s apart to clean them, rinsing the wick and coil in hot water, drying both completely (I dry them by blowing out excess water and then gently stuffing paper towel in them for 15 minutes to absorb any additional water) and then doing about a half a dozen 5 second dry burns until the coil glows. Put it all back together; drip 7 drops of liquid on the wick, top off and vape.

What I did to solve the Type-B problem was remove the wick from the coil and replace it with a Type-A wick. Now I clean it the same as my Type-A’s. If I did not have that option I would rinse and soak very well in hot water, dry completely in a 275 degree oven for 30 minutes, do the dry burns and then top off with 7 drops. This is the process I use on my 510-T’s which cannot be taken apart.

Good Luck!
