Refillable E-Cigs -Tank Kit - E-Luminate E-Cigarettes

At this point all I know if this company is they are based in Arlington Heights, IL.

In a B&M in the Atlanta area I saw a similar kit from E Luminate. It has 3 of the same clearomizers and the charger has a cord and wall adapter at $35. I know the battery on the one I saw didn't have Elumninate on it but the packaging did. Problem is, I can't find detailed info on the parts. Is it a true Ego or is it one with a different thread for the cone (I already tested my own 510 cartomizer so I know the center thread)? What type clearos?

I saw it before I spent most of the last week learning about stuff so I didn't even know enough then to know what questions to ask, not that it would have helped since the guy behind the counter seemed to not know details anyway. Now that I do know more maybe the packaging will answer some of my questions.

I do know I tried 2 flavors of juice, also E Luminate, and they were both better than what came with the cigalike starter kit I bought the day before seeing all this.

The most important question for members here, what do you think I should look for to indicate this product may be a problem? Until I'm more comfortable with knowledge I'm leary of buying too much online.

Too expensive. A similar setup (maybe even better) should cost around $10

Where? I've been pricing stuff on the net and the one I reference in a store (which is slightly different) comes out a pretty decent price compared to what I've seen on the internet. So again, if you know a better price...Where?

Just to clarify a common misnomer, eGo is a class of battery, not a brand name. Joytech and Vision are the better known manufacturers of eGo batteries and can generally be trusted to make a quality product. The rest are commonly referred to as "knockoffs" and may have questionable quality, or may be a fine product.

I personally try to stick with brand names. They offer more likelihood of purchasing a quality product. No name or knockoff brands' quality can be hit or miss.

Perhaps when buying online, choosing a reputable vendor that is verified here on ECF would be your best bet. Those vendors have their own subforums toward the bottom of the main page here.

Vaporjoes has a deal posted on a katana kit. Think it's around 10 bucks. I check his blog daily.

Personally I've never heard of this site so I'd be leary. I tend to buy from the forum suppliers listed here. I also purchase from a couple of places mentioned on Phil Bursado's review site tasteyourjuice.com.

I'm aware of what an Ego is (though I will acknowledge that info may help someone else). I a also aware some batteries look like and ego but have different threads. What I was getting at there is does anyone know the threads on this one. As stated, I only know the center threads are 510 at this point.

If the internal threads are 510 the outer threads are probably ego. The main point of company's changing the thread patterns is to force you to use the carto's that they sell. I doubt they would just change the ego threads to sell there own cones while keeping the 510.

Good point. That site isn't selling clearomizers and cones so changing the threads wouldn't keep me coming back to them.

Yes, the overseas shippers usually do sell everything a lot cheaper, but shipping is usually a lot longer with customs. EMS usually takes about 10-14 days depending on customs, could even be longer. The company I go through uses EMS and DHL, but DHL won't allow batteries to be shipped through them yet. I just ordered some liquid and supplies from China and used DHL, it was at my door in 2 business days.
