My experience with V2 has been positive. Excellent customer service; shipped out replacement usb charger same day. As others have said; their prices are higher. Oh and found out on this forum that their lifetime warranty is only valid if you keep your account active. Need to purchase something every 90days or so.

yeah i heard that to, so im just going to keep getting my blank cartridges from them, so far there the best blank cartridges i can find

Hi Brendan - Like you I chose the V2 as my first "vaping" experience. Paid $65 for first starter kit. I liked the size of the battery and the "ease" of using pre-filled cartridges as I'm a pretty no hassle type of person. However, do not buy the claims that 1 cartridge is equal to 1 pack of analogs - not so. I smoke a pack of analogs a day or less but I went through 20 pre-filled cartridges in one week! I am not a constant vapor - in fact, I don't smoke analogs in my house so I wanted to "vape" the way I "smoked". If you do the math 20 pre-filled carts added up to about 3 packs a day! Their pre-fillers are expensive too. Saw many complaints on their own forum about people getting bad batches of carts that were going dry quickly as was the case with mine. Their service is ok but they like to make you believe that this is a "rare" thing and I even had a customer rep tell me that "you only hear the complaints people have never the good things". I told her that was not so but I felt like her company misrepresented the length of use you would get out of a cartridge. Let's face it, if most people are like me they want to quit analogs not only for health reasons but to save $$ and I didn't want to be throwing them $40 for 20 cartridges only to get 1 week's worth out of those! I sent my kit back under their 30 day money back warranty, got my money back, found these nice folks at ECF who gave me advice and ended up with the Riva 510 Starter kit at half the cost of V2's. Using cartomizers and juice. I'm still a newbee and still having to find the right "curve" on how to fill, vape, clean, etc. but that's to be expected. Been watching lots of You Tube "How To" videos on vaping. Yes, miss the pre-filled carts but compare the cost of a bottle of e-liquid that lasts close to a month for me to the cost of $40 for 20 pre-filled carts - no brainer :2c:. I don't want to bash a company - V2 had some good qualities and they are fairly new but I just don't like products to be misrepresented to me. Stick with ECF before you make any further purchases. These guys have been vaping for quite some time, successfully and know the ends and outs that will help newcomers like us. Good luck to you - and me for that matter - still trying to get off analogs completely but do have faith that day will come soon :vapor:;)

yeah im refilling cartridges also, have you tried virgin vapors juices? I think there the best!

so lets see, you want something that looks like a smoke. i did too when i quit almost a year ago. i used it for a couple months and then thought to myself....self.... why in the world after all the damage smokes have done do you want something that even comes close to looking like something i hate? my answer was i dont. i dont want it white, i dont want it smoke size, i dont want a glowing tip and i dont want people to think im smoking. ive been through a ton of mods since trying to find the perfect one for me and believe me ive had some great ones and they all do what they are supposed to. i finally settled on the reo for me.

the reo? I haven't heard of that yet, where do i go to check that out? I know i can google it, but where did you decide to purchase yours?

if you want bigger and better you might check out the silver bullet for a tube mod. for a bottomfeeder ( fill your bottle with juice and give a squeeze here and there and go all day with no problems.

okay cool thanks for the suggestion, should I go to any certain website to check out the silver bullet

Im a noob to the E-cig world but I was REALLY impressed with the V2 Sahara flavor. I got a 5 pack of the cartos and an adapter for my mistakenly purchased 808d2 that was over-hyped by the google reviews. I just finished my first Sahara carto before typing this and:

A) it lasted me from 1:30 this afternoon until 2:45 the next morning (now) with me vaping at work throughout the day and constantly once I got home.
B) the throat hit was impressive with a hefty amount of vapor.(18mg) My buddy who smokes analogs, asked to try it at work and choked! (that was awesome to watch)

They ARE pricey compared to a lot of others I've seen advertised. On the other hand, my first order of cartos from them came with a promo code for 15% of my next purchase and a small stack of business cards that, if used with my included code, gave a $15% discount to the new buyer (for starter kits) and a $15 credit to my account for each code used.

I don't think I'll ONLY get V2 stuff, but the Sahara is tasty and I'll keep some around to vape when I need a punch.

i really dont know why rob doesnt sell batteries. reos can fit a few different combinations but the grand and woodvil use aw imr 18650s, the mini and mini woodvil use aw imr 14500s and the 18490s use...you guessed it, aw imr 18490s. you can stack smaller batts to get a higher voltage..its not reccommended but many do it with no problems.

When I first started vaping I wanted a mini that looked just like a real cig, and I still have my V2 lol (doesn't get used much though). Soon after getting what I thought was the best I found I was burning through batteries, and 2 wasn't enough which was discouraging. I looked around and wound up getting myself an Ego and haven't looked back. It reminds me more of a cigar size wise, the small batteries last around 6 hours of pretty heavy use (big ones last over 12), and best of all it's working for me.

I think the biggest part of making this work out is getting the things you want in a PV. If you want that ciggy look then go for it, if you want battery life then the real look can't happen, find a flavor you enjoy, and find your nicotine level. I almost fell off with analogue lookalikes, cartos weren't lasting long enough and neither were the batteries, refills were more expensive than refilling your own...blah blah you know.

Find a setup that works for you, and use it. Something a new vaper I've been helping out said that made a ton of sense to me was that when it looks like a cigarette you kind of expect/want it to taste like one, and when you get away from that look you lose that expectation. Leave it to someone completely new to this to say something that makes so much sense.

Hey Brendan. Not sure which Wilmington you live in, but if it's NC, then check out VapeHut - http://www.vapehut.com/

If it's another Wilmington, try to find a local vendor, so you can touch, feel, and try out different kits.
yeah im in Wilmington nc, ive been to eleectra vapor and they didn't have any kgos but ill check with vapor hut thanks

that does make sense, i just want something that hits better than the v2 and last longer and wont cost a whole lot! I think ill try the kgo and if i dont like it ill step it up even more! Thanks for the input
