Hey, I have a segelei mini 30 laying around and was curious if anyone has come across a firmware upgrade for the sx130 chip. I can't seem to find one but any info would be appreciated.
Wattage would be nice. I mean I only use it for my kayfun builds but 10 or 20 more watts would be nice. I don't understand why yihi would make a chip that's not upgradable that's a big selling point for me. I've built lots of sx mini and 330 and 350 boxes and love the chips because of the fact they are upgradable. Someone out there needs to get to work on some firmware lol.
If you really wanted to, I'm sure the sx mini would fit in the Sig.. Looks about right anyways.. Their new temp control 350J looks like the same size/button placement as well..
Man that's not a bad idea at all. I might try that before I put it in a 1590p hammond. That was going to be my next builds. One 60w in a 1590p and one 120w in a 1590b with the sx mini. Thanks for the idea there. Probably tale a little machining but that's not a big deal at all.
If you're handy with electronics, you can try swapping out the SX130 to the SX330 VC2. I would only recommend this if you've done things with electronics like fixing switchboards, used a soldering iron, etc.
