Does anyone know the dimensions of a 510 connector?

wow you are great, derogg.

That "connector base" on the first page is the female portion (what we have on batteries), and the connector post and insulation on the 2nd page belongs to the male portion (what we have on attys)?

thx

The first page is the outer threads, which are the negative pole. The second page is the insulator and center post, which is the positive pole.

If I had access to a lathe I would machine some. If you decide to make some I'll take one as a finders fee:D

And yes spaceballsrules is correct on what the plans show. Sometimes takes a bit to figure out exactly what you are looking at.

So the two pages are all parts of the "receiving end" of a 510 connection, something you would find on say, a Ego C Twist or a REO.

I guess with all the information so far, one can easily build the "inserting end", something you would find on an tank like the vivi nova.

Am I right?

Can you just buy 510 connectors rather than making them yourself? Specifically, can you buy with drilled center post so you can use it as a bottom feeder? thx

I know you can by 510 connectors. As far as the bottom feeder, I don't know exactly how people are doing it. I have never built one. I have seen plenty of threads here on them but I haven't paid much attention to the exact details.

Connectors? Yes. Drilled center post connectors?... Haven't seen them. If you could find what might be referred to as 510 connectors for auto batteries that might work, as they have a hole in the center post for the auto sensor function. But finding them is probably a stretch.

The connectors Reos mods uses are real beauties but I have no idea what the source is. He may be machining those himself.

You may have to resort to drilling them yourself. The type that has a "solder cup" type of bottom on the center post might be manageable.

But the REO isn't the only mod with drilled center post is it? I mean, pretty much any bottom feeder box mod, you are going to need a hole in the center post right? Such as Pdib's mod

Yes the schematic is for the 510 connector. That part is connected to the battery. The atomizer (or whatever holds your coil/juice) screws into that. The stem would have to be threaded with M7 threads as per section A-A on sheet one.

The 510 connector uses M7-0.5 threads? Where to buy M7-0.5 bolts and nuts?
I need to chuck up a top cap for polishing.

If you guys find the 510 specs please pass it on to the manufacturers so i don't have to use half dozen hot pins to flush fit half dozen toppers.

You might have to go to place that sells fasteners. Lowes or HD might have something, I have never really looked. There is always online.
