Does anyone know why the SpinFuel forum was discontinued?

My guess is lack of enough PROFIT!

This may be a bit of a long winded answer so bear with me.

And I am going to preface this with these are all my own opinions.

I was actually one of the founding moderators of the Spinfuel Forum and my user ID was Doc.

When I signed up for the task of helping to create a new forum I was promised a lot of things (like cool vaping gear) for my time and effort which for the most part was not delivered.

When the original administrator (not going to name names spoke out against some of the things she saw that she did not like, she was out the door.

When her replacement made his own complaints, goodbye.

The next Admin was chosen because he was posting up to 100 times a day as a member.

Then there was a lot of BS that I must post a given number of post a day and other crapola that I don't really remember. If I don't have anything to say, I ain't gonna say it!

So I made my concerns known to them and I was shown the door.

Again, IMHO, these folks are not real vapers and are indeed biased. I remember some reviews where each of the review team had like a 15ml bottle of e-liquid and vaped it for an entire week or somthing like that. A 15ml bottle will last me 4 days max if I have a cold.

Again (to cover my ....) most forums and blogs are for profit. Either money for add space or some free gear which is all well and good IMHO. But mostly because they are run by true vapers that want to create and environment where their fellow vapers have a place to hangout where we can learn and share.

And ..... and moan!

To be honest, I really can't say the same about SF.

Show me the MONEY!

Again these are my opinions and I want that stated so they don't read this and try to sue my tired old Ars'e.

Thanks for your insights Doc. As you were someone who saw the inner workings of what truly was going on, this shines a new light on the subject for me.

And I think you're absolutely correct.

Just left SF but never vaping and the community at large!

I had not been keeping track. How long ago did they fold and what reason did they give?

I want to say about 6-8 weeks ago, maybe longer. I don't recall any solid reasons being give, just sorta blah blah, experiment run it's course...

They really killed the place slowly, strangled the fun out of it. The last month or so it was open it was basically already dead.
