Does anyone see anything wrong with the ratio of this eformula base?

6.5ml PG
2ml VG
1ml distilled water

(then, add commercial ejuice to concentration desired)

I'm not sure if it is vaping correctly. Does anyone see an obvious problem with this formula or can someone suggest a better ratio mix. I tried modeling it off of TW's, but... I questioning now if the ratios should be adjusted???

Monk, do you even need the water with such a small porportion of VG to PG? The commercial liquid already has some, so maybe try without the water, increasing the VG by .5 and the PG by .5, or the VG by 1?

Water is not useful, it accumulates in the atomizer as it does not evaporate at the lower temperature as pg and vg do.

Water will reduce the performance of your atomizer - the buildup of water in the atomizer can contibute to overheating and eventual breakdown.

Yvilla and Krapanj, thank you both so much!!! I will try your suggestions tomorrow and make a new batch of DIY fluid. I've been so confused because I had fluval as stuffing and at first thought it was that. I couldn't figure out why it would give me a vape that was much harder to draw from, then the cart would look like it needed more and I would add it and then the harder draw again...

I went back to regular carts and then, still had the problem...

I'm sure what both of you wrote is on target and I need to remove the water. Thanks, so very much!!!

Might not be on the subject but on cart refill I had same problem with fluval bogging down,the draw and using way to much liquid so, I actually went to the yarn shop and got some unspun wool from the lady that spins her own,works pretty well,for back up.But always like to have new carts on hand.
