Does anyone use a 801 cart tip on a 808 carto?

Jaded told me that they will go over the 808 carto to use as a whiste tip but I would like to know if the part that will show is black or will the white part show too? I use black blank cartos so if they match that would awesome.

I've never used an 801 cart so I don't know exactly what I'm seeing in the picture on Rob's site. I hope this works. I can't wait to get back to a whistle tip instead of the round carto end.

I got 801 carts and I can't get the 801 tip to go on an 808 carto. the ones I have won't fit. I have corts from the 808, V4l, and the 510 carto and 801 tips from 2 different places and they won't fit. I wonder what tips he has.

Oh, he said he runs hot water over them first. I guess they fit pretty tight. Hope not too tight so they don't come off easily.

I use the softer rubber 801 tips.They fit over the cart.You have to heat or stretch them a tiny bit.

They 801 tips are a little tight, but will fit.
You remove the white hard plastic that contains the filter, and then slip on the
soft black rubber mouthpiece onto the carto.

A 901 cart will also fit into a carto if you remove the carto's mouthpiece and inner rubber ring.

Wow! I never made the connection (pardon the pun), but it makes sense that the 901 whistle tip would fit a carto given the fact that the KR808D-1 and the 901 have interchangeable batts and attys.

Side Note: The 901 tip might also help reduce getting liquid in your mouth more than the standard KR8 ring and stopper.
