Does everyone refill their KR808D-1 carts?

As always...as soon as I have a question about something e-cig related...ECF comes thru. Thanks for the advice on the condom method. I just got my KR8 PT today and I'm loving it...was wondering how I was going to refill the carts and stumbled across this thread. Will be trying it when this delicious mint cart gets low. Thanks ECF!

use them til they are nasty tasting, remove the filler and use them as drippers. I use the condom fill method as well, but instead of the rubber piece going back into the carto, i replace it with a drip tip. I usually just drip on an angle to refill, especially if i am out and about, but once back home, I use the condom method to refill it to full capacity

Is that a drip tip for a 901 that you use Mutt? Did you have to make any adaptation to it? Thanks!

Anxious to try this...just not sure which method I want to use. Maybe I'll try both and see which seems to work best for me. What does keep the juice from coming out the sides of the condom on that method? And does the condom method or pulling out the rings and refilling method get the greatest capacity of fill?

They never taste the same after refilling as they do when you crack open a fresh one and go to town on it, it all depends what kinda person you are and what your budget on vaping is, some people don't wanna refill them and just use prefilled, but you do pay more for the convenience of vaping fresh ones all the time, most people i know refill them a couple of times and that's it, same for me too, i pound mine to death so the draw goes funky after a couple refills.

I got the rubber-tipped premium cartos and they make dripping very easy. The white mouth piece comes off with ease then I just drip and twist until it looks soaked (but not pooled). Works great for me, and I also find that refilling them before they're completely dry seems to extend the life as you're less likely to start scorching the filler. Usually get several days or more out of each carto before a hot-water rinse and then they're practically like new again. Either way, dripping generally saves you a ton of money and I find the overall vaping to be more enjoyable, from taste to vapor production.

Katielynn: with the condom method, you take off the white end cap and the rubber grommet/spacer inside, leaving the batting, atomizer, wick, etc. (everything else). and there are two pretty tell-tale ways to know when they're dry. first, it simply does not taste the same. usually the first handful or two of vapes will taste well of the flavor, after that you may still get some vapor, but there's a good chance you're burning batting and wick as well. the best way is if you're using a soft-tip (rubber end cap) carto or the condom method, simply look at the batting. if it looks dry, it is and likely has been for your last couple of vapes. in general, as soon as you take a vape and it doesn't taste like the last vape you took, open it up and have a look. most likely you're due for a drip.

It doesnt really matter if you do it from batt end or mouthpiece end.
result is pretty much the same.. I've started to remove the rubber stopper/spacer inside. Because I allways had juice sitting between end cap and stopper/spacer. Its supposed to help prevent juice in the mouth, but I find it works just the opposite.
Have been very happy with condom method, thought it was better, but recently went back to removing end cap and dripping. You tend to waste more juice by condom method..

Dripping 20 drops in, it lasts longer before taste gets bland.. When using CM I put juice in C, filling it a bit more than half full, sometimes could get a bit more in, but it comes out the bottom again when u pull it out, so wiping it severel times on a tissue.. lots of wasted juice. Then when vaping, got some juice in batts and connecters, and it needs refilling more often... Going on more than 6ml a day...

Could vape maybe an hour or hour n a half, at the most, before taste got bland.... now with drip method, I go atleast 2 hours or more before taste starts to go away.. Think rubber stopper/spacer removed, improves the draw.
