I always tried to stop smoking about the same several times a year. January 1st New Years, February 23 my birthday, July 4 Independence day, Sept 11 because of 9-11 because they would have both been the worst days of my life. I wanted it to be a day that I could remember. I really just think it was a excuse to wait until the next big day to quit. As it turned out I vaped and smoked for a good while and it just got to the point where I didn't even want a cigarette. I wasn't about to waste the cigarettes I had (I'm cheap) so I would smoke one a day. And it was the nastiest tasting thing. (I hope I never forget that part). Well I finally got rid of all my cigarettes and started vaping full time. It just happened to be of May 5th so I actually did quit on a holiday..........Cinco de Mayo. Is that not too funny? Somethings just seem to work out the way they are suppose too. :)
