I'm usually bad about dates, unless I keep them written in my computer. But I do remember the vape date, because it was New Year's Day this year. I impulsively stopped at Walgreen's and got a Blu cigarette starter kit because I had just seen a commercial on TV. The Blu let me know that this would actually work for me, and I haven't smoked since I got it.

Of course, I upgraded pretty quickly. Right after I found this forum, in fact.:D

You bet I remember! I received my starter kit on Dec. 7th 2012. I vaped & smoked for 5 days. It took me that 5 days to smoke what I normally would have smoked in a day & a half. The morning of the 12th I smoked my last cig with my coffee & just refused to buy another pack. I did have to up my nic to 24mg for a while after that but over about 2 weeks I was good to go:) I never thought I'd see that day. Heck I didn't even plan to quit. I was just hoping I'd cut back but once I saw how little I was smoking once my kit arrived I decided to go all in.

I remember. My wife asked me to quit on November 1, 2013. I stopped in the vape store on Halloween night and bought my starter kit. That was a Thursday. The following Wednesday morning, November 6th, I smoked my last analog walking my garbage cans from the curb to the back of the house. I remember lighting it, picking up the 2 garbage cans, walking behind the house, and looking at the cigarette thinking "My God, this is awful. I like the flavor I get from my eCig better.", then throwing the .... in the can after only 3 puffs. I have not had an analog since. My last memory of smoking one was "Ewwwwww!". I have not had any cravings at all. My Father passed last Saturday, and the funeral was last Wednesday. I vaped my face off, but I did not once think about having a cigarette. Even if I stop vaping tomorrow, I will not smoke again. My last memory of smoking was not pleasant.

First ever vape... Spring/summer 2009 I ordered the Blu starter got down to only 5 smokes a day with it. I don't really remember when I stopped using it.
October 2013 I dug this ancient artifact out of the closet but it was no longer functional and ended up ordering another as I did not know of the other options just yet..
Some time mid to late January 2014 I was introduced to a new Vape shop that had opened in my area and well this obsession has spread like wildfire...
My official quit date is November 7th 2013 8:03am. I decided that I was done and so I was.

Was down to my last stinky.....so when i went to the store, instead of getting more Camels....I picked up a (get ready for the groan......!)...Blu Starter Kit!!!
Lousy, IMO.....but it DID get me off the analogs.....and KEEP me off until I could upgrade to the Ego-C Twist and Protank 2 Mini's...then on to the MVP2 and Reo Grand and Mini 2.1!!!:D
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Two full cartons in the pantry, one mostly full pack with ashtray by the computer.

Brought home on morning of Aug. 5, 2013 an MVP v1 kit after a couple weeks research. Nervously filled the tank, screwed on top of MVP, and took my first "toot" at high noon EST.

I started to "practice" vaping for a trip to non smoking relatives thinking I could vape inside and smoke outside.

Three days later and hadn't smoked any tobacco figured something amazing was happening here! I would still reach for my cigarettes every time sat down at computer; but, hey, right smack dab next to them was that wonderful MVP!

Three days after this revelation, figured I needed a "backup", and went to my first vape meet. Looked at all the gizmos, asked endless questions, and proudly in my noobiness answered a few of my own about the MVP!

The "backup" I got was won during a raffle.....A ProVari plus batteries plus charger plus extension plus ProTank plus juice! :w00t:

That does it......All she wrote......Done......A goner......Someone is trying to tell me something! This is 6 days after I take my first "toot" on that MVP. I take my winnings home, put up the cleaned ashtry and chuck the opened pack of cigs.

Took another week to quit reaching for the ashtray and cigs when I sat down at the computer. Still got the 2 cartons in the pantry and trying to figure out how to dispose of them. Am almost at the 10 months mark of NOT smokin'.........and am STILL surprised this happened.......None of it was planned! :p

Hard to forget mine. I decided to give vaping another shot after going back to smokes for 2 years and bought a Provari in the classifieds.

The person selling asked me if I was going to Vapercon since it was in my home town.

I quit October 10th 2012 at 2pm when I rolled into the parking lot and threw my cigarettes in the trash in the lobby.

Then I spent way too much money on vaping supplies and had to quit for at least 2 months to justify the expense to my wife :)

I just noticed I quit 5 days after Robino1 as well......guess that makes her my vaping buddy :)
