Does Flavor Art have real tobacco in it?

Long time reader second time thread starter. This is a re-post of this from the new members area.
I started DIY 5 months ago with LorAnn but, really craved a tobacco flavor. I have tried many Flavour Art, Flavor West, and The Perfumer's Apprentice, flavors. I like TPA because they label their flavors with "no natural tobacco" and "contains tobacco"; Plus they are made in the U.S.A.. My problem is that DK is the only TPA (non-tobacco) flavor that I even sort of like but, I'm really enjoying Flavour Art's Virginia and Camtel Ultimate. I have searched the FA site, ECF and Google to locate info that would state clearly if FA tobacco flavors contain any real tobacco. If anyone knows and/or has a source for info I would be very grateful.

The FA flavors are all composed of individual chemicals into blends. They do not use things like tobacco absolute or extract.

TPA sells absolute and extracts alone and in blends so it makes sense for Linda to differentiate.

Neither has WTA's if that was a misconception.

Please do not take offense but, how did you come to these conclusions? Are there any links to corroborate these positions?

Maxx is a flavorist who was educated in the US. There were a few old timers that used to hang out here who had personal contact with him and I learned from them.

Linda was brought into this, at first, without her knowledge and then old timers here started talking to her and TFA was born soon afterward. Tobacco Absolute has been around a long time and Linda was one of the most reliable sources back in the day when she was wondering why it was flying out the door. I remember reading that alkolids were stripped out along with the big all of nicotine during the absolute process. (If TA had WTA's in it, then the latest thing of having WTA's would have been around at the beginning.)

The old threads are probably buried around here somewhere, but I already learned it and have no need to dig it up. (I'm assuming they survived the ECF crash that garbbled our posts for a few weeks after it came back up.) The DIY'er market has really changed since I started. For the better. Kurt, devap, nikhil, and others with chem backgrounds used to be regulars around these parts and I've learned quite a bit from them. Plus, I don't really care if you believe me. I'm just a guy on the internet.

I'm guessing Maxx is affiliated with FA somehow.
ECF, nor your posts, has not steered me wrong so far. I'm just the type that prefers to see it with my own eyes.

FA has stated that all of their flavors are food grade flavorings. I'm sure if they ever started selling extracts and TA, they would change the statement just as Linda has done on her extracts and TA. I've read some of the threads Hoosier is talking about. If you have doubts about his advise, do a forum search and do some reading. Hoosier has been DIY'ing for quite some time and he knows his stuff.
