Yes
1/ Controls - rate of juice flow, air flow
2/ A window :)
3/ Less hassle and fiddling
4/ A native fit on the GGTS

Just to give another view :)

1/ Controls - iAtty has juice flow control and air flow via GGTS
2/ Window would be nice
3/ Apart from building the coil i find it way less hassle than the UFS, doesn't need dialing in, screw on and vape
4/ Agreed but it was designed for the GGTB, seems to fit GGTS fine though

I think the UFS beats the iAtty in looks alone, and it's a lot more expensive in running costs

The UFS isn't going to be obsolete anytime soon. It's still one of the best tank systems and works really well if you figure it out. When the UFS came out people were...well people are still using AVS's and enjoying them a bunch. Old to new GG products from tanks to pv's are never going to be obsolete.

Agree with this statement as a product that is in use by the user will never become obsolete to them, but here is the question i would like to see some input on, of course it would be ideal if you could give honest input after you have received and really put your iAtty's through their paces.

To the question...if a new user to the GG range wanted advice on a tank system, which would you advise?

Got to honest i'd probably advise them to get an Iatty.
I love my UFS and im back on it now (as i have to calm down a bit).
But apart from that the iatty is much more user friendly and as for the looks department.
Well........
If this was all stainless...

I agree, I hope you can get a SS mouthpiece for it.

i realized after i posted this that my choice of a word like "obsolete" might provoke strong reactions from UFS users who have not yet explored iAtty.. Of course UFS will continue to prized and desired and used. But I seek the opinions of those who have used both...

womblebat, thank you for sharing your understanding of what i meant :)

I will gladly let you know my thoughts when my iAtty shows up!!! I can't wait, it's going to be here in the next few days.

I am looking for the answer to this question myself. I have a couple friends who will be getting "gifts" of iAtty or UFS, depending on which one I think ends up being the lesser of learning curve. I have a feeling it is going to be the iAtty, but we will see soon :D

My friends are good folks and I watch out for them, they've watched out for me! Hey we're just like the GG Family ;)

I tried the Iatty about 3 weeks back and honestly I much rather the easy "plug and play" (put in an atty and vape) of the UFS There is no fiddling or constant adjusting or spinning coils needed. It looks better and IMO vaped better too. I kept getting the taste of the wick messing with the flavors of the juice from the Iatty.

IAtty is nice. Will it render my UFS obsolete. Not a chance. I have both and love my UFS. IAtty is really nice, but I like my UFS better. I know how to dial it in, and it works great with my liquid of choice. My opinion. I will keep them both though :) But I see less and less need to have my other non GGs around.

Still my answer is no even before I have the iAtty in my hands. It's vaping great because Imeo made it, but the UFS vapes great also. If you know what you're doing they both are going to vape your heads off.

UFS a little less work, choose a trusted atty and know the settings
iAtty you can precisely choose what you want with a bit of knowledge

I haven't received the Iatty yet but the most hassle free tank system I use is the AVS2 with a punched carto. I put in a new one once a week, run 20-30 ml of juice through it, and the only time it isn;t goos when its down to the last 1/2 ml. That being said, the UFS tastes better in the long run, the AVS falls off somewhat.......:)

Got my Iatty today and got it going on the second attempt. Been vaping on it a couple of hours and it is still going strong with no leakages, flooding, or going dry (I have the cone fully closed). I like the easier draw the Iatty is capable of. In order for the UFS to work porperly (at least for me) the air CR has to be partially closed which restricts the draw. You can vape the Iatty with the CR wide open rendering an easier draw like the AFS2 which I love so much. I can't say as yet that the Iatty will totally replace the UFS yet, but my present plans are to use the Iatty much more than the UFS.

Edit: Forgot to mention a big plus for the Iatty is that the Iatty is going to save me mucho dollars on atty and carto costs. That is another driving factor for me to favor the Iatty.
