does iAtty render UFS obsolete?

Hey UKtarget,

The tip was a generic 901/510 SS drip tip i cant remember where i bought it except that it was a UK seller. I cut the threaded part off of the tip that came with iatty and turned down the SS drip tip to accept the thread (tight interference fit) et voila a SS tip for iatty although i dont like this style of tip and as soon as imeo produces a SS tip for iatty i will be all over it.

Yes, I am with Womblebat, Cliffy, Uk and Scope on this one.
Having used both the UFS and iAtty, I can confidently say the iAtty is top dog. I.M.H.O.
The UFS needed to be paired with the right atty for your type of vapour production and although I tried the LR 510's from Ikenvape, the iAtty produces volumes more vapour. iAtty is a little smaller than UFS, produces better vapour and alot more consistant. The only plus for the UFS I see was that it produced a bit more residual flavour when you drew through the tank.

disclaimer: GG tools are functional works of art. So even the older models remain highly coveted... The UFS and her predecessors are beautiful in form and function.. These are not really obsolete as long as they are serving their owners. Yet GG evolves. All this should be understood without my saying.

That said, my iAtty has landed in Los Angeles..
I'm almost with you! <3

I think it would be foolish not to make the UFS anymore.

Here is my take so far having both.

The iAtty gives and incredibly consistent vape. The draw is much lighter and airy compared to the UFS, but with the CR on the GGTS you can easily adjust that to your preference, and the iAtty IMHO vapes better with the airflow restricted.

The UFS once adjusted just gives better flavor, and denser vapor. Now I say this with some explanation required. This will change for iAtty in the near future, now that it is in the communities hands, and that is something that is super special about the iAtty. As we explore wires/wicking material/ user techniques the iAtty is only going to improve.

UFS uses standard atomizers, which is an advantage if someone doesn't want to, or cannot (physically) wind coils. I think they both need to be a part of the GG production line (Until Imeo designs the next big thing.) Some of our community might not have the dexterity/eyesight/interest to wind coils. :)

I'm excited to see where the iAtty takes us, now we get to help Imeo drive innovation in the vaping community.

Yes I agree 110% Rick. Even though I have a brand new iAtty enroute (courtesy of GG member fright88! :) ), I fall into the "unable to" category. For old farts like myself with dexterity issues, the fidgeting with the UFS adjustments sounds a lot more realistic than winding coils.

As good as the Ikenvape and Cisco atties are, dripping isn't a lot more realistic for unsteady hands. Keeping the UFS active will allow all GG users an option for their specific needs. :)

The closest thing to the VVGGTS before it gets here. Adjustable draw + Iatty + Variable volts and amps

I cannot imagine anything better looking or working than this setup; but I'm sure Imeo will knock us out when it arrives.

In my opinion, Iatty is on top of the food chain now. With UFS i was looking for better atties all the time. Now i don't care anymore about atties... i can vape how i like all the time with Iatty! But still, great Iatty doesn't make UFS worse device. It's just different and much more user friendly because we are not bound to serial produced (mostly ....ty) atties:p

Dear friends,

I'm just newbie in vaping.. About 2 to 3 months old.. I would love to get a
GGTS or GG Stealth.. But I still don't know if I should be getting a iatty or UFS. I would love to get both but I think I should not be that greedy and also my wallet will not allow me to do so in near future..

So if you will choose between iatty or UFS, which one would you like to use as your only feeding system that will be use on a GGTS or GG stealth? Ü

Ps.. I'm still short in vaping knowledge and still got no time to learn the physics about the ohm law... Ü but I'll learned if I need to do so.. Ü

Thank you and greeting to everyone who read this post.

Personally I would start right off w/a GGTS - If you get a Stealth first you have no adjustable draw and limited to a 18350 batt. Far as UFS vs Iatty. If you don't mind fiddling, learning how to build a coil, then the Iatty. If you want something a bit simpler - UFS. Still a learning curve on how to feed it properly though. My 2 cents.

Since getting the iatty I have not used my UFS much to be honest I use it on my GGTB but I am looking forward to using it on the GGTS as well just awaiting a new centre pin........I prefer the iatty there is a little bit of faff, but once mastered its fantastic I would go for that if I was new to the GG family and didn't know which to buy.Just my opinion.

Oh and welcome to the family that is GG

I don't have a UFS yet but I will throw in my .02.
I love my iAtty but no matter what I do I have to replace or clean at least the wick every 12 hours of use or so. I typically run 1.3-2.1 ohms 3.7v and it doesn't matter if I use ceramic or fiberglas apparently the juices I like caramalize around the wick then taste burnt. I've tried 5 different vendors all 60/40 or 50/50 and a variety of flavors (usually sweet I don't like tobacco flavors).

So the iAtty is great but if your results are the same as mine pe prepared to fiddle with it at least once a day.

What I would love to see is the inside of Iatty retrofitted to work within the ufs. This way we may not get liquid flow control (as it's regulated by the bell on top) but we will get air flow control AND transparent window.

With a GGTS we already get air flow controll and if you want to use it on another mod you may be able to find a collector tank an air controll ring and a top connector cap with internals from one of the vendors. Add that to the ufs adapter here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/198738-ufs-510-a.html and you may be able to use the iatty with overflow tank and air controll on any mod.

Although that doesn't answer the clear window issue.

Totally agree. I've been on vacation for 2 weeks now and haven't done anything accept fill my UFS up every 2 days. Great flavor now that I have an atty without lacquer on the outside of it. This thing won't quit!

We should not compare these two tanks, they are pretty different. You put good atty in UFS and it
works great, but when you run in to a bad atty then you got problems...
With iatty we always know what we'r on :) I never got bigger clouds of :vapor: than with iatty
and I like them big:laugh::laugh::laugh:(don't get me wrong)
When you make good coil, iatty is steaming all the way! When it comes to flavor, for now
I would say UFS but for everything else there's iatty:lol:

Dear Friends,

Thank you for all the information you have share.. Really means a lot.. :) although, I still don't have a exact clue on what I will really get in the near future.. But owning one or more of these beautiful beasts from GG will be definitely.. :)

I just wish that I'll control myself in the future when I own one of these beautiful beasts, because it's seems many have fallen and get so addict to it, that owning more than 2 or more seems to be normal.. Hehehe... :p I rarely heard/seem people would own more than 2 PV of the same model, same brand.. but here, it's like a normal thing.. :) Oh.. Well.. Just hope that one day, I can also be like you guys, owning so many beauty of GG..
