I've been reading many comments on e-liquids from several vendors where some find the flavor's, vapor, throat hits etc... are incredible where others say it terrible for the same product from the same supplier. I guess everyone has there own individual taste and I read that many of the suppliers seem to vary ingredients from batch to batch (got a bad batch). Not sure why there should be so many inconsistency between batches, but I guess it's not under any type of FDA control.

I also wonder if the nicotine levels would affect the product. This I'm not sure about. Since I'm kinda new at vapping and still experimenting, I started out with 18mg products, but I found myself vapping all day. I am currently trying 24mg levels, which seems to satisfy my nic. cravings, but the taste seems to be not as enjoyable as the lesser mg levels.

Anyone have any comments you can share?

Thxs

And Lord willing, it will stay that way. I'd like to point out that if the FDA manages to gain control over e-cigs and juices, they will be regulating ingredients and the amounts of ingredients that can be used. They never oversee quality control.

Many of the small e-liquid makers are making their juice up in small batches, so there's always a bigger possibility of variations from batch to batch. For instance, the flavorings used are very strong. One drop more or less of flavoring won't make a bit of difference when a company is making up a 50 gallon drum of juice, but it could make quite a difference if someone was only making only a few ounces or less at a time. (Do you ever drink chocolate milk? If I make it myself, every glass is slightly different. But when I just buy if from the grocery store already made, every carton seems exactly the same. :)

I don't have enough experience to say whether or not the amount of nicotine can affect the flavor. I know it can affect TH. More nic equals more TH. Hopefully, someone else can answer that. Are you using exactly the same juice, just at a higher nic level?

I think they do too; I fell in love with a totally wicked 24mg Vanilla flavour (even though I'm not normally that bothered for anythig vanilla flavoured) so I bought it a huge 30ml bottle but at the higher 36mg strength. It arrive today but it tastes almost nothing like the 24mg bottle I used up. Even the smell is more subtle on the stronger bottle.. on the 24mg one the exhale vapour smell was fantastic.

I'm thinking that it might better for me to find what I like in the stonger strengths so that when I come down in strength I'll get a pleasant surprise on flavour rather than the other way around?

I totally agree with this. I totally fell in love with their vanilla. I had ordered the 18mg, but all they had on hand at the time was 36mg or 11mg. I decided to go with the 11mg as I was vaping constantly, and I didn't want to OD myself. Then when I re ordered, I purchased the 36mg, and I also found the flavor to be less than the lower dosage.

Kinda what I thought about the nicotine levels. I knew it effective throat hit and VG is less TH but more vapor. Sounds like a couple drops here and there would have a big effects on the final results when making small batches. Makes me wonder if I'm really getting 24mg of nicotine or 18mg from what vendor I order from. Maybe 26mg or 15mg depending how everything gets mixed that day. I don't blame the suppliers, because even if I mixed my own, how would I know what the quality of the product I'm getting. Guess that's what you get when there are no regulations. I'm guessing most of the raw products come from China and are mixed and made here in the USA.
