Need to Know!! I just got some vapornine turbo blanks, and 2 of them failed in a couple of minutes. I was using the cap filler method and wanted to know if putting TOO much juice would cause them to fail. I cleaned one and refilled it, but still got almost nothing out of it. Was it just a bad cart, or did overfilling it fry it????

I had the premium 808 carto from vapor4life. I flooded mine but took out the polyfil stuff but left the papery coiled stuff around the metal wire. I washed it out with warm water and turned it upside down to dry then added some clean poly around the outside of the coiled paper. Then I just made sure not to drip any liquid in the middle of the carto and it worked fine.

Thanks. It turns out the carts were bad to begin with and vapornine is replacing them for me. I'll know for next time not to overfill them.

If you do overfill, chances are you'll be able to tell if you hold the carto up to a light source and look through the hole. You will be able to see if there is excess juice in the hole or not. If there is, just blow through the mouth end and the excess will come out of the battery end. Make sure to clean the battery end thoroughly so you don't mess up your battery.

What do you guys use as a poly refill material? I have some of the craft type poly fiber fill sold in craft stores (like for stuffing sewing projects) I also have flame ......ant quilt batting that can easily be shredded and fluffed that I could use. Could I use either one to refill my 808 carts? or do I need to buy some other type of special filling?

One thing for sure... you do not want to use flame ......ant filler. The chemicals on it are nasty.
