Hi friends I'm on day 17 of quitting. When I first quit and started vaping I broke out in so kind of rash. I even had bumps on my scalp! The rash left as mysterious as it came. It's all gone now and no more itchy bumps! But I was just wondering if it was due to quitting smoking and all? Maybe it was the poison coming out? What do you think?

Maybe you just came in contact with something and it was just a coincidence. Either that or maybe you are just allergic to something in the juice you were vaping. Did the rash go away after switching up your flavor that you are vaping?

I think that is possible... however, maybe it's more likely due to your body adjusting to the PG/VG in your setup. I've seen some people on here who have had sensitivities to PG/VG but from what I've seen, the sensitivity usually goes away once their bodies get used to it.

Happy vaping! :D

That too, I know it took a few weeks for my body to fully adjust to PG/VG. I still can't handle high VG, it makes me cough. PG ALL THE WAY FOR ME!! :vapor:

Could be. I just kept on vaping and the rash left after a few days! No problems at all now. Must have been getting used to the pg and vg. I use a 50/50 mix of pg and vg and now I don't have any itchies. I guess it took a couple days to get used too.? Whatever the reason I'm really glad it's gone now! I thought it might have been the poison from the tobacco coming out of my pores?

Well Tobacco isn't technically inside you, so it can't really come out of your pores. I guess there are plenty of other toxins FROM cigarettes that could be released through sweat. I think it is more likely that it would just be excreted through your urine or other standard waste removal ways...
