Seems most of the threads on rashes are closed.

So, for the people who have developed rashes - anyone develop one within a day of starting to vape?

Does it look like and feel like poison oak, at least at first? (If you know what that feels like.)

I have used Mistic before, which I'm pretty sure is mostly PG.

I started using a 70 VG / 30 DW that has some PG in the flavoring only yesterday, woke up with an itchy rash on one of my wrists today. Washed it with Dawn, put on hydrocortisone, took an antihistimine - not likely it's poison oak this time of year, but I couldn't think of what else it would be. None of that seemed to help.

Used the new stuff again today (despite little flavor.) Was going to put some of the liquid directly on the other wrist to see if it caused the same reaction, but fell asleep when I got home. When I woke up, the other wrist was already starting to get the rash, too, so I can use it as a test subject.

So - wondering if anyone has had similar itchy rashes due to vaping.

This could be something else entirely. Even slight chanced it's P.O. But.... this is the only "new" thing i've been doing.

It might or might not be from vaping. I've heard some are allergic to VG and some are allergic to PG. I think more are allergic to PG than VG, so you can maybe try a 100 percent VG if you want to see. If you do, I highly recommend an organic alcohol based VG so you will still have decent throat hit. I have also heard some can be allergic to the filler in cartos and have to use clearos. I guess you will have to watch it closely and try different things. I hope you can figure it out soon. Best of luck to you.
