I've been vaping for a while, new to board other than lurking, but I was wondering to what degree, if any, vapor, or certain types of vapor stain your teeth? Analogs certainly did, but since I have quit (many months ago), I am not noticing much difference in my teeth. I do drink coffee in the morning but brush with whitening toothpaste shortly afterward.

Correct me if I am wrong. I would think the staining from smoking actually comes from the tar in cigarettes. Since ecigs do not have tar content, it should not stain.

To my understanding that's pretty much it. I have a lot less plaque buildup since I quit smoking. Dentist use to have to use that cavitron (I think that's what it's called) pressurized water thing to get those dark stains off. Very little of that needed since I quit smoking.

My teeth were always pretty white but then again, I hadn't smoked as long as a lot of people on this forum. I made it a habit when I smoked to bleach my teeth(yeah yeah i know) every few months). Since I stopped a couple years ago and started vaping I have noticed my teeth just all around look better. I still have some tint but it is slowly fading with time.

I vape mostly dark, rich tobacco based flavors and heavily steeped liquids that are quite dark. Zero staining. Actually, since quitting cigs completely (see siggy--2-1/2 months), my teeth are significantly whiter, without any other whitening efforts on my part. I can actually call my teeth "white" now, lol! I say confidently (from my sample set of one, ;)), that e-liquid has no effect on tooth discoloring.
