I agree with that the 801's are the way to go. The 901 gets to hot and doesn't taste as good as a result. I've often thought it was funny that when people talk about the higher voltages being bad or good, they don't mention which atomizer. If the 901 was the only atomizer that could work, I don't think I would use the GG at 6v. As it is, I love my GG 801 set up.:)

I am playing with a 510 now, and i love that too,

I think the reason why people chose this atomizer to modify is due to it's engineering qualities and popularity. It is easier to make this atomizer plush than an 801. It may be true that the 501 has these same qualities as the 901 in this sense, but the 501 is rather new on the market. I think that if the 501 came out before the 901 and was just as popular, Imeo would have made the GG with a stock 501. I also think that Trog would have done the same, which in turn would definitively have influenced Imeo's decision to use the 501 as his "stock" option. The 901 is probably the best atomizer for regular China made batteries, but I think it has no place for a serious battery. It sure the hell has no business being on the end of a six volt device.

I am hoping that Sakis, makes something for the GG that allows the 901's to have the flavor with the juices. I have mostly 901 atomizers. He has said, that he is working on it.
I like the draw better with 901's. It has a tighter draw to me like a analog.

Right now I will use the 510 and the 801's with GG.

Rejoice - see my review of the 808 cartomizers.

The cartomizers' flavors come through really well with the GG.

Yes I have tried the cartomizers with the GG. I have them from buying the Vapor king. They get too hot, way to fast.
The flavor is reduce in them too.

I like them with the lightvapor e-cig. They have a great flavor and do not burn to hot. My lightvaper is a 901 magnum. Secondson2929 made it. He reduce the volts in them. It uses the same batteries as GG.
With it the cartomizers vapes perfect. I am almost out of them.
I bought alot form smilin and been waiting for him to get some more in.

Poor smilin has had some many customs problems. I ordered some caromizers from another company and those are awful. I may try the company you are using. I seen in your past posts.

I really only like to vape the cartomizers while driving.
Love the mint flavor of them.

Love the mint flavor of them.

The ones that I got from Drew must be different then.

They get very warm - but not hot and the flavors definitely come through.

My absolute fave is Mint too. But that's not surprising since I put menthol drops in all my liquid.

You said it perfect!
I am not at all sure if our 901 that comes with GG or indeed the totally wicked atomisers are genuine 901 atomisers! They may be RN4075s which burn much hotter for some reason and are more satisfying at 3.7 volts. I guess running them at 6 volts is making them go crazy and taste all burnt and stuff!! I do have a 901 atomiser that works perfect on GG! I am not sure if it is genuine 901 or not She was a wimp at 3.7 volts too!

The funny thing is my good atomiser was from TECC, the others of the same type are nasty on GG!

I just received my 3.7 volts battery and charger so maybe I can use my totally wicked afterall!
