And to the other reply.... I am not talking about TW... I don't want to list the supplier here because IMHO that would be unfair.... I am not afraid of the seller or what the seller may do to me....

My apologies. That said, though, your OP does, actually, fit well with
historic behaviour in the TW supplier area.

But, I do not understand why people are so skittish about naming names.
By getting a problem out in the open, it could help save other ECF readers
grief in the future. If the problem is subsequently resolved to the
satisfaction of all involved, then all the better. The squeaky wheel, and all
that.

First of all you need to realise that innuendos and hints will get you nowhere. If you have a complaint but no real proof, then write a bad review of the Supplier in the board that we specifically created for you for exactly that purpose. Then you have the floor and you can say your piece without it being deleted. If the Supplier wants to respond then they can, and we can mediate.

Ok I thought I was pretty clear that the issue was NOT related to me... Yes I had a issue but it was a while ago... Recently there have been several more so I figured I'd ask if the ECF had a policy...

If you have not received goods or a refund after 21 days then we will certainly take action because that is theft.
Thanks, that is good information to know... I will PM the person who currently fits this a link to this post so he / she may contact you...

If there is a serious issue here then I would have expected some complaints - but that's OK, we can look at any problem anytime the complaints start. But they need to start. Somebody somewhere needs to complain to us because we aren't psychic and we don't know what's happening everywhere.
The 40 or 50 deleted threads in the one supplier area should be an indication something is amiss...

I think many people just take it and move along.....

Please keep in mind that there are 100,000 posts here each month. I'll just repeat that in case you didn't get it first time: 100,000 posts a month. If you think we can read each one you are mistaken.
No need to say it twice... I am well educated and can read.. Rather rude response, but I will take it for what it is....

We rely on Members to report what they feel is unacceptable and we rely on you to tell us what the problems are. Please start to communicate on your issue if you feel it important because we will take action. We do cancel Suppliers' forums and we do cancel their site membership.
Very good information. Thank you..

Members need to save their online payment receipts because deleting them is neither sensible nor helpful when we get involved. You also need to complain in writing to us because if you don't - as seems to be the case here - we don't know anything and can't do anything.
Again, very good information and again, thank you

You need to make a choice as to whether you want something done, or you just want to moan about stuff. Your move.
Another rather rude response that was uncalled for. I believe I have stated several times that the issue was not about or for me... It's about and for other who can now benefit from some of the information you provided.

The information you provided was for the most part what I was looking for... Thanks for the responses and I believe this thread can really be closed now... :)

I will and have PM'd the users that have been riped off with the information provided in post # 20....

If they choose to contact you they may.... If not at least the information is now available for us to see....

Thanks again!!!

There are also people that go into suppliers forums just to cause trouble...sometimes this can be other vendors or members with an axe to grind. :)

This thread was not about that... Please feel free to start another if you want to discuss that topic...

This tread is about a supplier who has a long track record of complaints / deleted thread.... Non of which are what you speak about...

Thanks

Which supplier?????

As Roly says you are playing a game of whispers and some other suppliers are getting mixed up in it. And all I was saying that not everything you read is true....;)

And as I state earlier... I will not list the supplier here... The ECF knows who it is and took appropriate action by announcing their policy...

A simple search of which vendor has a TON of deleted threads in his sub forum will answer your question as to who it is....

I think the ECF could even go one step further with problem suppliers by not allowing them to delete complaint threads....

The way it stands now, complaints are posted in his sub-forum and they are deleted by him so that other prospective clients / buyers can't see the complaints....

Perhaps in order to delete a complain thread it would need a disinterested 3rd party (mod) approval...

Again, if you wish to start a topic on what you speak of, please do so... I did not start this thread to have your type of response / derailment...

Thanks

Kris

Perhaps in order to delete a complain thread it would need a disinterested 3rd party (mod) approval...

The problem with that is that the mods would stand accused of not being disinterested enough - it would open up a can of worms in terms of accusations of bias on the part of ECF etc.

I think the current setup is far better - especially since it flags up issues with admin far more efficiently.
