Does the Vapor King XL require...

Does the Vapor King XL and regular Vapor King require a different charger than the KR808d-1 charger.

I received a XL and a regular battery today

The XL had no charge so I briefly put it on the KR charger and nothing happened so I took it off thinking maybe it requires a different charger.

The regular batteries led will not go off and I cannot get it to charge. Could I possibly have received 2 non working batteries?

VK batts charge fine on standard 808 chargers. Two batts not charging correctly? Maybe your charger is going bad?

Nope I have several and they are all the same. The regular battery arrived with the led on and since has not gone off and will not draw. The XL battery arrived with no tester charge a I call it cause I like to test them out. I put it on the charger and no blinks from the led nor will it change from blue to red.

The manual had a test charge and has since been charged and it works great!!!!!!!! I love it.

Did you get them from V4L, if so they should be already charged.

Also, if you did get them from V4L, just shoot them an email. From what I have been reading and a close friend of mines personal experience, they are righteous people when it comes to honoring exchanges on defective items. I'm sure they will take care of you.

I just got a Vapor King XL a couple of days ago and almost the same thing happened. Initially it had a half-charge and when I went to recharge it, nothing happened no LED light on the USB only a red light on the AC adapter - meaning it is not charging. I tinkered around with it awhile and discovered that it had been drawing a little hard as well so I took the old sewing needle and poked it in the air holes in the battery rim (their are three small holes) and gently tapped it(thread side down)on my night stand and found small chrome plated pieces(obviously had been stuck to the air holes-not completely and cleanly punched out) anyway after that I put it back on the charger and it worked fine. And now it draws really well and produces great vapor. You might check the air holes just in case.
