Where I usually am
I just got my X2 1300 and don't know if it is fully charged or not. Also how can i tell when the batt gets low? Does the light blink like on other batts? How long does it take to charge the 1300?

Thanks for any help, I am lost...
Hello :)

The bat should come charged up and ready to use. You will know when its dead when the light at the end blinks several times.
when you plug it in, the light will glow....when it's fully charged, the light will go out.

For more detailed information, see this thread:

Hope that helps:)

I used mine for two days right out of the box. Make sure to get the 1.5 amp household charger if you plan to use it as a pass through. Your USB port on the computer is only .5 amps and wont be enough to power it in Passthrough mode. They take about 3 to 4 hours to charge on household current and all night on the computer USB. I bought 3 of the 1300s and I no longer worry about batteries.

techincally they ship about 80% charged ...the reason is not 100% is safety.

I learned about this the hard way with the battery on my last cell phone - put it away fully charged when I got a new phone, came back a month or so later and it was dangerously swollen to twice its original thickness.

If anybody here needs to store an e-cig battery for an extended time, please get an idea of how long it takes to vape it until the battery needs charging, and vape it down to somewhere in the half- to 3/4-charged range before you store it. Fully charged batteries of any pretty much any kind can be really dangerous when stored.

I have a question if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I got my 900 mah X2 today - electric blue and so cool. Have been charging it. Initially the end glowed blue. Now it isn't glowing, but there is a tiny blue light still on. Is it charged now or does the light go off completely when its charged? I am dying to try it out with some 555.

The blue light went completely off on my X2

I have 4 different X2s. They all charge differently. One has a really bright light while charging 2 are really dim the other is what I call normal. When the light goes off while charging that means it is fully charged. I usually wait until I use mine because I get a very hot vape if it comes right off the charger.

If you store a bat for a long period of time it should be stored around 40% charge.

The brightness from charging is the same as vaping. Dim or bright. The one that is bright is like a beacon. At night my screened it porch lights up a omnious blue color if I leave the top off.

If it is off while vaping, then if you do not get vapor the charge is out. If you do get vapor try it in a closed room with the stealth cap off looking at mirror to see if you have a light on it. One thing I wish the x2s had on it was a charge meter. I don't think any of the fat bats do though.

I get a few hours out of my x2 900. Maybe 4 hours. My 1300 will take 5 hours to charge. The 900s over 4 hours and my 650 around 4 hours. This is using the 1.5 from SI.

I charged my X2 for the first time after around 2.5 days of vaping right out of the box. When it finally died I put it on the wall charger and the LED light stayed on for at least 6 hours. I'm charging it again now. My question is should I leave it on the charger until the LED light goes out, if it finally does, or only leave it charging for a certain amount of time.

Last question, is there an owner's manual out there somewhere? Mine didn't come with one and I've looked around with no luck.

Wow...
maybe I've been doing it wrong.
For recharging, mine always seem to take too long.

My slim batteries, 65a/78a/78m, take 2-3 hours to charge, regardless of power brick/PC used. The difference in charge time seems to be a function of quality control of the battery, not the battery size. My little blue 78 is the fastest at charging, consistently under 2 hrs, and 1 65 takes 2 hours, and 1 65 and 1 78 both take 3 hours.

On my x2's, 650 & 900, both take about 10 hours to charge. This is regardless of method used [always use the cable that came with it].
0.5a, 0.5a, 0.75a, 0.8a.

The only thing I have not tried is the SI branded 1.5a brick. Based on my results, it seems more amps have zero impact on charging. I am not really interested in the passthrough function. Should I really expect the charge time to drop to 3-4 hours if I buy the SI brick???

The 1.5 a charger is only really needed if you use the pass through fiction. It prevents outpacing the charging of the battery. People have checked the draw while charging and it's around .5 a.

As far as your small batteries go, it could be the post needs to be pulled out a little to make better contact or it could just need cleaning. Proper contact with the charger will affect charge time as well.
