I'm trying to get the wiring straight to make a 5v blue lightening tube mod but I'm not sure if I've got everything in the right place.

You'll have to forgive the crappy drawing. I'm not trying to win an art contest, just trying to figure this out .

Aside from not having any capacitors for the regulator looks good to me. It will still work without caps Might not be as stable or last as long with out them.

Damn, I was just going to get a PCB and use the same wiring as with the 5v box mod but wasn't sure if that would fit in the tubes cap. where would I add caps in on that diagram? If I'm looking at other diagrams correctly it would seem that I can just solder a cap from the ground pin to the Vout pin. Or am I going to have to try to cram a PCB in the tubes cap?
