Actually, ruff, I do believe one did! LOL I have at least 6 of those eBay dc-dc converters in different configurations. Have one in a mod and it's doing fine. Gonna take some time off work around xmas to do some more moddin'

lol yeah if one beat ya out by bidding 4.50 it was i. good to hear am looking at my 18650s and that board and these two project boxes thinking i need to take 1 1/2" off of one and add it to the other to make room for everything lol

'Salright--I was running a board back before the internet "went public," been on fora to some degree or another since '92, and I still forget to read ahead quite often.

And on that note--got the pre-built buck boards in, won't fit in the box. I guess I'll just be rebuilding this as a 5v and work on VV in another enclosure...

Just an FYI on topic:

I have a VV box built with the madvapes VV kit Ver 2 that runs off two 18650's and has a voltage indicator. It was built into this project box.

I didn't build it myself.
