MY 2 ORIGINAL JOYE EGO batteries SEEMED TO HAVE DIED TODAY ... MARKING EXACTLY 4 MONTHS.

THEY BOTH DIED ON THE SAME DAY LOL.

LUCKILY I HAD SPARE batteries..

WHAT IS THE USUAL LIFE SPAN ON THESE?

I don't think there is a normal life span, to many variables involved. LR and DC is going to reduce the lifespan and also how often they are used so it's going to vary widely. That is odd they both bit the bullet on the same day.

Might want to check your other equipment as said above to make sure it's functioning properly.

I've never had an Ego batt die in just 4 months. They have diminished over time though. I too think you should check your atty's and stuff.

i did my checks with the charger and etc.. And it all boiled down to the battery.. Maybe i should go play the lottery... 2 batteries same day.. On my 4 month anniversary

Atleast you know it wasn't intentional. There is no way the Chinese would have made the self destruct work correctly

One bad atty just fried 2 of my batts last week, shorted or something, but probably not the same problem. This is tooooo odd.

I had my first one die recently, got it in February. The last week or so before it passed on, it wasn't holding as much of a charge. Where as before it would last longer than I could vape it in a day, it started dying at 8 pm, then 6 pm, then 4 pm, then it didn't have a charge at all. I plugged it into the charger, and the button would blink, but the charger didn't change colors. I'd take it off, press the button, nothing, no lights, no vape. It was 1 of 2 I got in the kit, the other one still being practically new since I always just used the other one. I have 2 650s in reserve as well, so I should be good for awhile. Not sure if that info helps at all.

if this helps any.. i vaped 50/50 with those 2 batt's.. i cycled them on the charger (i was always prepared).. luckily a few weeks ago i decided to buy 2 more spare batt's just for kicks... boy did that pay off..
