Yes. I got up this morning and baked enchiladas, later baked a meatloaf, later made spaghetti, later made up a big batch of tuna with roasted red peppers. It was supposed to go to the freezer for meals throughout the week, but a lot of samples of each went into me instead of the freezer. Getting ready to have a bowl of cookies 'n cream ice cream. I hungee.

Now I am really wondering what is causing this. I talked to my daugher about it. We both have hietal hernias and she thaught the nic liquid was doing it. It seems like it is also affecting others too. I doubt we all have stomach hernias so what is it?

Does anyone here know what is causing the severe hunger??

Lets all go to Seabrooks house. He sounds like a good cook

I heard nicotine is an appetite suppressant.

Maybe it could be similar to when you walk by a restaurant and something smells really good...then all of a sudden your tummy's a rumblin'. :pervy:

Your taste buds and sense of smell have probably recovered from smoking analogs, so you have more of an appetite.

I think that is why I chain vape sweet vapes... I have been vaping german chocolate cake all day. The minute I stop I want to eat.. so I vape low nic sweet yummy vapes all day instead.. I am already overweight I do not need to gain more from not smoking.. yes everything does taste delicious now and so different that when I smoked so everything is tempting.

I have about 6 different flavors that I switch throughout the day. Other things can trigger hunger too, change in weather, age, activity and mood.

I did notice on occassion I've swallowed my vape instead of inhaling it. Done because I am taking multiple drags before inhaling, then my stomach gets that hunger pain too, which I am probably confusing with a mild type heartburn like irratation.

If you aren't hungry but it hurts, that might be it. Hard to say so I think everyone is just going to throw you possible reasons and hopefully you can sort through them and figure them out.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I have had more appetite per se, but sometimes vaping something sweet will make me want to eat something sweet. I could also see that, if you were regularly getting e liquid in your mouth, that you could develop some kind of stomach problem. Nicotine is not the most stomach friendly thing out there.

I really believe that is true. I get the nicups too. Like I said before I do have a stomach hernia and really think when I over fill and get juice in my mouth that my hernia flares up. Next time I am taking pepcid instead of
RED VELVET CAKE. :D My one big weakness.

Thank you for all your comments:)

Peanut butter is my standby too! LOL

Actually, just the opposite. The more I vape, the less I want to eat. It suppresses my appetite immensely. However, when I do feel hungry, it's honest hunger, and tastes much better than before. But since I started vaping, I've noticed I'm not as hungry as often, and sometimes forget to eat at all. Could be because I couldn't smoke cigarettes in the house, so I didn't smoke as much at home. Now I can vape inside, and am probably taking in more nicotine than before. I think it will eventually balance out when the excitement wears off a bit.

Peanut butter is my stand-by, go to food. And diet green tea with citrus. Need more water though.

When I first started vaping I did notice an increased in appetite and did eat more at that time. With me anyway that all went away and my appetite returned to its normal level within a few months. I have been vaping now for over 6 months. It might only happen in the first stages of vaping for the most part. I guess others will have to comment on this.
