Does VG burn quicker?

I have been using 80/20 in a vivi nova and usually use about 3/4 tank in a day. I recently bought some 50/50 to try since I've read higher VG gives off more vapor. I can happily say yes it does! Wow, the increased VG level does produce more vapor, down side is less throat hit like everyone says:(

Anyways, my question relates to juice consumption. I use the same tank and head and same wattage (8w) and vape the same amount but i empty the same tank in half a day? I can literally see the juice level going down in a vape secession. Seems like it burns much quicker. Does anyone else notice this?

Also, I get a lot of dry burns and have to tip way more often, what is a good delvery system for higher VG juices?

Its been about a month since I switched from 100% VG to 50/50 and, to me, it seems like the blend goes faster :p. *shrug*

As far as running VG in tanks, I like bottom coil tanks or tanks that rely on pressure to move juice, as opposed to systems where the juice has to climb the wick on its own. The Kayfun family handles high VG well in my experience. The RH Terminators (and GG atties on which they are based) have also worked well for me.

If you're running 100% VG (or close) it may help to water down the juice with a little distilled water. I've done it with some if my heavier e-liquids (5-10% of volume) with pretty good results. Hopefully someone else chimes in on how much they are diluting VG (if at all) to get it to wick in their tanks.

I use a Kayfun, as well, and am having good luck with high VG. Even with a PG/VG ratio of 63/35 I have to watch how much I vape. The PG seems to make my tongue feel like it is swelling. 50/50 mixes work very well for me.

I do seem to go through more juice with the 50/50, but the vapor production increased a great deal. With 65/35, I did not have any issues with devices. At 50/50 I was just having trouble with a Vivi Nova- it vaped well, but I chain vape. I had to wait between puffs, unless I kept it tilted a great deal. WIth 35/65 Pg/Vg, I definitely go through more juice.

The vapor production with higher VG is what I prefer. There also seems to be a little more flavor with the higher VG, but that is hard to say- I was trying different attys, as well. At the rate I am going through juice, I am just about to start the DIY juice dance.
