Does waffle need to steep?

I just recieved my order of TV waffle in the mail last Thursday. I was soooo excited because I've heard so many great things about it. First thing I did was load up a fresh carto and started puffin away. To my surprise, it just tasted like burnt syrup to me. My wife came home and asked what I was burning and I told her, she was like I don't think you should vape that in the house or at work cause it stinks. So I figured it may need to steep for a while. It's since been sitting in my dark closet with the top off since Friday morning.

Has anyone else experienced this burnt flavor? does it go away with steep time? And if so, how long?

I have only tried one bottle, but it did not taste burnt. I thought it was pretty good and I will buy it again. It should be noted, I used it the first day I got it (a few months ago) and it taste the same or similar compared to when I used it a few days ago.

Note: try a new carto, maybe the new one you were using was one of the few statistically bad ones. Does the juice smell like waffles or does it smell burnt?

Yeah, I think I will try a new carto. As for the smell, I can really only smell the maple in it, not so much waffle or butter smell.

Oh and I dunno if it matters, but I use a Joye 510.

Yeah I would say a bad carto sometimes if you don't put enough juice in a fresh carto it Burns and once you get that flavor in there toss that puppy!

Waffle is now my 2nd fave of all time TV flavor (Pina colada being the first) but Ive found many flavors taste much too strong in cartos compare to regular atties. I drip btw I find it gives a better flavor overall. For me, Waffle is lovely rich maple syrupy flavor, not at all burnt - but I've tried it in cartos and found it really strong (not burnt but just...really strong lol).
Maybe try a regular atty if you find the cartos smack you in the face with flavoring

It definitely needs to steep. Just got mine like 4 days ago and it is slightly starting to taste better. But I can tell it's heading in right direction. Just needs time. Did u add any sweetner?

No I did'nt add any sweetener, I've been letting it sit for about a week now, I think it's time to give it another shot.

Did you add sweetener to yours? I was thinking about ordering some sucralose to experiment.

A friend gave me some waffle from TV and it was the best juice I have ever had. Did not taste burnt at all and I was definitely able to taste the butter and waffle. I think it was steeping for awhile though so I dont know. I have heard that Tasty Vapor juice can be inconsistent from batch to batch. I don't know if thats true but I have heard that.

Yeah I ordered the sucrulose. So I can add to my liking. It does make it better.

From my expert point of view on TV's waffle juice, (ASSUMING you got plain) it does NOT need to steep. And yes TV's juice (as with most vendors) can be inconsistent from batch to batch as mentioned earlier. It happens.

Yeah, I got the plain waffle. Gave it a good shake and sniff last night and it still smells funky. I'm kinda scared to try it again, that flavor stayed in my atty for a while. I think I'll try it again tonight, and if I don't like it, I'll just try swapping it in the exchage thread.

I tried waffle from another vendor, and was hooked on it, but only ordered 10ml. It's gone now

Yeah, whaddya got for trade? I'd really like to try Geoff's Blend or tastyfinger, but I'm sure I'd be interested in other flavors as well. I already have a big bottle of A/C (yum!) so I don't need anymore of that.

The other bottle was from vaporbomb. 80/20 It was a light gold color and had great buttery waffle flavor with just a hint of maple. This one also tasted better with time.

Let it steep for a couple of days and try it again, you might be surprised! What strength and VG ratio did you order?

I did my usual take the tip and cap off right when I get it, let ist sit in a cool dark dry space for 24 hours and then let it steep for 2 more weeks. That and a bunch of other juices from them still taste like feet to me. How long did it take yours to steep?

That and a bunch of other juices from them still taste like feet to me. How long did it take yours to steep?

I think it took me like 3 weeks to get through the whole 10ml, but it was definitely getting better toward the end. I also ordered some other flavors from them that I did not like (virginia menthol, blueberry and mountain mist)....maybe I should try them again since they've been sitting for about a month now.

I only let it sit with the cap off for 24 hours, after that I've just been storing it cap on in my dark closet. I agree though, from what I've read, air is not good for the nicotine in our juices.

I only let it steep with the cap off for 24 hours. I've talked to many vendors who suggest this on orders that are made fresh. I've never had an issue with ANY other juice and I've order A LOT.
